Vivi has come under fire from certain circles for achieving some questionable victories in his last few appearances, but the grumblings of a handful of poor losers can hardly dampen the young wizard's childlike glee at making it to the quarterfinals once more. While it is true that he's outsped by the white wolf Blanca, it is hardly important given his massive amount of magical firepower and his Octagon Rod's ability to absorb the wolf's trademark Red Comet. Even though he'll hate to give the cute doggy such a beating, Vivi will surely manage to get over his natural compassion to make it one step closer to that championship. |

Having proven himself in the litmus test of badassery that is the elimination round, Blanca is now sharpening his claws for a more difficult match, against the young sorcerer Vivi. Now, given his great advantage in fleetness and large amounts of healing, Blanca could easily wait out his opponent until presented with the opportunity of a doubleturn, but he has something else in mind. Vivi is, after all, well known for his naivete and lack of perception in a battle environment. The conquering canine need only go into Metal Gear Blanca mode, and wait as Vivi wanders aimlessly about the arena for the chance to slit his throat. All that's left to find out is whether or not these anachronistic puppets bleed. |
Ryu Hayabusa Vivi couldn't believe his eyes. Instead of the cute white doggie he had expected to see,his opponent was a towering, monstrous humanoid with green skin and red hair! "Hawrooo!!!" Blanka roared. "Ladies and gentlemen!" the announcer said. "Due to a clerical error at the Multiverse Immigrations Office, Blanca from Shadow Hearts will today be replaced by Blanka from Street Fighter 2! Let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!" Vivi slammed a devastating thunder spell into Blanka's face, but the massive beast only howled in delight, absorbed the electrical energy, then rolled up into a ball and slammed into Vivi repeatedly, knocking him out of the arena. "Excellent." the announcer growled. "Finish him!!" Blanka jumped out and chased the confused Vivi around the stands, as pissed-off RPG fans filed to the ticket counter for a refund. To make a long-story short, Vivi was later declared the winner by default. But don't feel bad for Blanca - during his time in the Street Fighter universe, he humped Zangief's leg, gnawed the crap out of Ken, and crushed M. Bison to win the championship.
