If there’s one thing that looks better on a woman than a nice uniform, it’s a stylish suit. At least, that’s the theory held by most of the gamblers placing bets on Elena’s bout against Lt. Koenig. However, it’s Elena’s martial skills that will win fights, and she’s well equipped in that area as well. Although Anne’s Cross will take the edge off Elena’s offense, Karin is still fighting an uphill battle against Elena’s superior offense and durability. It will be long, and won’t be pretty relative to the physiques of the beauties doing battle, but this is a fight Elena can win, and most certainly will to defend the honor of the Turks! |

If Karin wants an easy in this fight, all she needs to do is wear her uniform and bark orders. Elena's far from the brightest member of the Turks, and as long as someone looks and acts like a CEO she could probably be convinced to leave the arena without much protest. Trickery takes more effort than Karin needs in this fight, though. Elena's not exactly a heavy hitter, and the regeneration and status immunity granted by Anne's Cross just adds insult to injury. A few quick swipes of her sword, perhaps with a bit of phoenix flame added on for style, should be all it takes to see Karin into the next round. |
Shale Without access to her Confusion trick, Elena's only hope is to turn this duel into a catfight, where her years of training under Scarlett, Shinra's resident bitchslap instructor and three-time world champion, will finally pay dividends. Sadly, she couldn't convince Karin to leave the sword at home. Elena: 22 Adumbro Deus
