The best of the Scarlet Moon Empire's many generals in a straight-up fight, Sonya represented the last true challenge for Tir McDohl and the Toran Liberation Army. Sonya is even faster than Tir, and is a powerful physical fighter to boot. Armed with a Water Rune for healing and blinding, along with disgustingly high overall stats, she should have little trouble putting away one-trick wonder Zynk in her debut match. |

Like all Shining Force fighters, Zynk brings little to the table, when it comes to variety. However, with some of the best stats around, his single physical hit doesn't really become a problem, for him. There isn't one area Zynk is poor in, aside from move. Coupled with the ability all Shining Force characters have to randomly attack twice a round, there isn't much he's afraid of. |
OblivionKnight Zynk's great, but Sonya is just that much better than him. Besides some of her natural...assets...she's got excellent speed ( more than even Tir and Cleo and the like ), a Water Rune for healing, and a strong physical attack, plus great defenses and HP AND spell charges. All-in-all, one of the best damn PCs in Suikoden. Zynk is a great physical fighter, but he's extremely 1-D. Should be an obvious win. Sonya Shulen: 7 |
