Season 38, Week 4
Wiegraf Folles
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

The legendary Shrine Knight, Wiegraf, is following in Agrias and Delita's footsteps with the greatest of ease! The only thing standing in his way of a championship and an upgrade is… a frail little girl? How unimpressive. No matter how wretched his soul is, Wiegraf draws from the power of Holy Sword. He'll purify Maya with a few attacks, no matter how she guards or tries to heal. While it's probably cruel to slaughter such a bright, young girl without remorse, who cares? Wiegraf has a championship to win.

As the young Mystic comes face to face with a Shrine Knight for the Middle Semi-Finals...well, ok, there's really no interesting way to follow up that statement. However, this doesn't change the fact that Maya is well suited for taking down Wiegraf. With the combination of her healing and Gospel’s boosts, she can simply outlast him, especially if she can buy the time she needs to use the Mystic Art "Forbidden Rite" and just obliterate the fool who thought he could rely on the power of Lucavi to get what he wants.

So, why DOES Wiegraf win? When you think about it, he doesn't have a record of coming out on top. Leader of the Death corps? Defeated by Ramza and the Death Corps were wiped out. What about when he became a Church Knight? Defeated by Ramza, possessed by Lucavi, then killed by Ramza. So after that, this boils down to one thing. Maya, you are no Ramza Beoulve. Good day and enjoy your Holy Explosion to the face.
