Simple Gort isn't afraid of this matchup, though many would be, most likely. Venerable though his opponent may be, the only grand master Gort pays heed to is the Grand Master of Funk. He may be slow, but titanic defense is the name of the game here, along with healthy doses of ax to the face. Grand Master may have a dozen and one tricks up his sleeve to try and take him down, but worry not. Gort's genius lies in his dwarven simplicity and battle prowess, and he aims to show just how far that will go this season in the RPGDL. |

In one corner, we have the original big skill-set less slugger! In the other corner, we have a Dwarf with a large ax. Can this fight get any more, well, straightforward? The might of the Grand Master's will and the fruits of his training will pay off though, as despite what logic and intuitive thought might imply, his fists hit much harder. Just like in boxing, a simple one two punch will knock his opponent out for the count...except there are no gloves in this case and the opponent is using a large sharp object, but the same strategy still applies! |
Namagomi Fists and axes flew, as Grand Master and the dwarf fought hard. It seemed almost as if the fight wouldn't end, but Grand Master saw a weakness. He didn't want to, but Gort jumped in the air whenever he attacked... And then Grand Master punched him really hard in the balls. MORAL OF THE STORY: Hitting things in the face really hard with an axe is one way to get ahead in life, but it's hard to argue with a punch where the sun don't shine. Gort: 12 |
