Season 50, Week 4
Heath
(Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword)

The Wyvern Rider Heath has never gotten this far in the arena, and he has a lot to prove, given the track record of his fellow Fire Emblemites in Middle. He's not about to choke this close to scoring a Middle belt! Now, this fight is certainly an uphill battle: the Metal Demon Alhazad sports rather notable defenses, and his Alhazad Symphony is a fearsome magical attack, the likes of which Heath doesn't fare well against. But with a speed edge over the monster, alongside the trusty might of a Killer Lance, he may just have the punch needed to break through the sorcerer: after all, even a metal skin will crumble under the might of a critical blow. Heath's honor is at stake in this match, and he's not giving up without a fight!

Alhazad appreciates the effort on Heath's part. He really does - giving it his all and stuff, hup hup hurrah. The wyvern is cute in a way with all those... well, there's the teeth?... and a base, pathetic human flying around like he owned the skies is amusing enough to watch, in a "special" sort of way, but it's still an insult to those who fly (or float) under their own power. It also still won't be enough to strike down Alhazad's rise to the top. After all, the simple fool Berserk champed Middle; why can't the evil Metal Demon genius Alhazad? Counters are something to watch out for, but he might as well be sticking Al with a pin for all the good it'll do. Not that Alhazad would pop like a balloon if you did, mind you. Just saying...

You know, there is one thing that Alhazad is really good at.

It's not fighting.

Oh, no, it's not.

It's SCIENCE.

"I don't...actually think this is really science." Harken noted, as Heath's now-twenty-stories tall dragon proceeded to rampage through the League.

"...well, it ate Heath first. That counts for something." Alhazad said diffidently.

Well, pointless random destruction counts as science. I think. Close enough. Honest. Right?
