Season 52, Week 4
Gijimu
(Suikoden II)

Bwahahahahaha! That skinny runt thinks he can get away in a fight against the mighty lumberjack? That's just rich. The geeky student certainly won't live through Gijimu's crushing axe swings, and his gimmicky little parlor tricks aren't going to work! Gijimu may not be terribly brilliant, but he's a tough nut to crack, and resisting those silly hypnosis-like spells is as much a matter of resilience as anything! So, Gijimu will go out there, grip his weapon and deliver the rightful beating this little Nash brat deserves! Nobody should have to endure those pointless cantrips when all they want is a good brawl!

If Gijimu thinks this match is going to be the latest setup for an "Axe To The Face" joke, then he had better think again - and fast. Nash Rumack is a man on a mission, and is in no way here to play around. There's a Middle championship with his name on it just waiting to be claimed, and if some musclebound lunk thinks he can get in Nash's way, then he's just asking to get statused out into next week. Whether by sleep, paralysis or just good old petrification, the magical prodigy will take this overgrown Suikoscrub out before he can even move. Special delivery for Mr. Gijimu, it's a one way ticket out of Nash Rumack's way!

Gijimu had learned well his strategy, so he thought.

Planting axes in people's faces was considered the very height of Duelling League technique.

Nothing could stop it.

So he thought.

But then he came upon a man that no one said he could win to.

After all, it's hard to plant an ax in someone's face if not given a chance to get near them before turning to stone.

...or is it?

Nash was pretty confused.

There was a battleship in the arena. A weird looking one, at that.

And nothing else. The judges declared him the winner.

Blade, the Axem Ranger's battleship, stood in the arena silently.

The moral of the story:

An axe to the face solves every single one of life's problems.

However, sometimes, people just aren't equipped to deal with the true power of the axe.

Gijimu, somewhere under the giant, axe-shaped battleship, had found the true power of the axe, but sadly, lacked the spirit to wield it.

Or the muscles.

Nash Rumack: 34
