Season 53, Week 1
Junpei Iori
(Persona 3: The Journey)

He may not excel at academics (actually, he's a terrible student), but Junpei Ioro, known more affectionately as “Stupei”, has the blood and spunk of a gladiator. And while he’s used to fighting those bizarre Shadows, he certainly has the tools to put down a wannabe Crimson Noble. Scythe Riebauer may be very fast, but giving up his first turn could prove quite fatal for the bloodsucker. While Junpei may not be able to kill him in a turn, the Persona user is excellent at chipping thanks to his large array of weapons and skills. All he has to do is wait for his next turn, and hope that his excellent durability, regen and Scythe’s lacking damage leave him at good enough of a state to use one of his mighty physical techs, which should surely take down the frail vampire cosplayer. He won't know what he's supposed to do indeed!

"WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO -" Oh, the sleepless nights, the unbearable mockery. The mighty Scythe Riebauer suffers from the memes generated by his inglorious demise in his home game, and he cannot seem to avoid the jokes at all! But this is about to change! As sad as Scythe may be, he must be superior to this obnoxious Junpei kid! After all, Junpei is as much of a butt monkey as Scythe is, and doesn't even have the powers of a Crimson Noble! Iori's lacking damage won't cut it against Scythe, who will certainly unleash his deadly suction powers - not that it's necessary, as a Blast blitz off Scythe's ridiculous speed certainly will put the pressure on the high-schooler. Now Scythe will get his revenge! He can't wait until Junpei screams what the hell he's supposed to do as those spell explosions blow him away!

"So... you're my opponent." Junpei said skeptically. Scythe simply nodded, one long, elegant fingernail tapping against his left arm.

"...seriously?" "Mmm, yes, young child."

"..." Junpei turned to the judges. "Look, can I get an opponent who won't go Brokeback Mountain on my a-"

Scythe, at this point, just killed him and punted him from the arena. Junpei, once he was resurrected, attempted to apologize, and got 4D Pocketed by Belial.

Some days you just can't win.
