Season 53, Week 2
Adray Lasbard
(Star Ocean: Till the End of Time )

Soarer of skies! Wrestler of sharks! Aquaria's finest! A man of many legends, Adray has nothing to fear from a mere scrap of a girl. Indeed going at it full might, Adray even cheats by nulling Lun's fire spells with one of his legendary swords. Even playing fair, though, Adray still has Reflection and Angel Feather to make a mockery out of the fishergirl's fireworks. A plethora of healing takes care of any scratches she might make and Protection reduces her physical damage even more. To finish things off, Adray has quite an offensive arsenal take out that ditz - but he has a heart of gold, really, and he wouldn't want to make this fight too painful for her. After all, she might prove to be useful as a suitor to his daughter - or she could point someone out for that dreamed marriage anyway...

Well ain't this somethin' neat? It's always good to see Lun taking time off from her busy schedule of sailing, troublemaking and training with the Dragon Cavalry to take part in the arena. Actually, it's to regain her family's honor after her father's embarassing loss a few seasons ago, but anyway. As someone used to dealing with lunkhead fathers, her opponent Adray seems to be tailor-made for her! And he's certainly a step above Logg. His magic and swordskills definitely put Logg's anchor-to-the-face style of fighting to shame, but Lun's Fire Rune is scoffed at only by those with a death wish. She's got charges to spare and respectable speed and defense. Luckily, she won't have to worry about Adray trying to marry her off to his daughter once she sends him home early.

"Oh hell no!" yelled Lun as Adray went into father mode on her, as a long suffering Clair stood testimony as to the catostrophic results of something like that "Now I have to deal with not one, but two overbearing male figures!? Forget it" With that Lun turned high tails from the arena and fled as fast and as far away from Adray as possible. We wish her the very best of luck. The old man may be slow but when he sets his mind to something he's as stubborn as a rock.
