Once again, Lilly comes into a fight with an offensive edge. She'll need to make full use of it, too, to do as much damage as possible before Ultros' Imp Song hits. Fortunately, Ultros plays very well to her weaknesses... he has both terrible physical durability, and a weakness to fire-based attacks. With Lilly's Sword of Rage Rune allowing her to turn her blade into a fire-elemental weapon and attack on the same turn, she could very well have Ultros screaming "Ouch! Seafood soup!" before his deadly attacks can come into play!

The young woman with the flaming temper and flaming sword is likely to be a far greater challenge to Ultros than any previous opponent, since every one of his boss forms boast low defence and a weakness to Fire! Fortunately, Ultros does still have those multiple boss forms, and multiple forms mean multiple options. Whether Ultros opts for his high-speed Opera House form capable of a quick win with Imp Song, or a much higher-HP form in the hopes of outslugging Lilly with his devastating Tentacle, could make all the difference in this match. The question is, will the admitted "slow learner, fast eater" make the right choice?

What do the daughter of the President of Tinto and the eternal representative of octopus royalty have in common? Simple, they both have experience on the stage. So, in an unusual agreement, the two decided to settle their differences in an acting contest.
As it turned out, Lilly dominated the acting contest. Past evidence showed, after all, that Lilly was one of the few competent actors in Nadir's company, while Ultros' sole credentials were managing to ruin an opera and being denounced by the local impresario.
Unfortunately for her, Ultros still won the fight. Past evidence, after all, also showed that the purple octopus had no objections to attacking fellow actors on stage. And that he could cast Imp Song under those circumstances.
Imps, as it turns out, make extremely poor impressions on stage.
Lilly Pendragon: 5
Ultros: 9

Scary as it may sound, Ultros has this match, too. Though Lilly DOES play right into his weaknesses, his strengths are of the "Unparryable attack that deals good damage" variety. A couple of smacks with his tentacles should bring Lilly to her knees.
