The intrepid apprentice from Vane continues to go into his duels full of confidence, as he faces a fellow mage this week. Though Nash would never admit that a little twerp like Vivi utterly outclasses him in the damage department, he's fully aware that his large assortment of status spells are fully effective on the black mage, and that's precisely what'll propel him to victory. As always, Nash's impressive speed assures him first strike, and with one good casting of Stone he'll have another win in the bag. |

Vivi matches wits and spells with another mage this week, and it looks to be a pitched battle. Nash's actual offense is almost completely nulled by Vivi's elemental protection, which means that Flare will quickly outpace whatever damage Nash does. On the other hand, Nash's status accuracy is higher than Vivi's, and although his magic defense and evade will provide some protection, Vivi is very much fighting against time here. He won't get more than a couple of shots at Nash, so he'll have to make the best of it with Flare, or hope for a lucky blow with Death. |
Cmdr_King Nash was lating in getting to the match. As such, he was still desperately fixing his hair (although it was, as ever, perfect anyway). The beginning of the match was called, so Nash quickly looked up and cast Stone on the blue-robbed Black Mage. Recovering from looking up too fast, he noticed that there were several such figures there. "Well... one of you must be my opponent!" Thus, he cast Stone again. And again. And again. Until the whole set was statues. And still the match did not end. In despair, he cried "Where! Where is Vivi!" "Uh... behind you." Nash gulped, and was quickly hit with several Flare spells. Vivi thought for a moment before leaving. "But... why would he turn all the visitors from the Village to statues?" Nash Rumack: 22 Meeplelard
