The premier playboy of Toran bounds into the arena this week, ready to wow his bevy of admirers with a dauntless display of daring against the devilish demon, Delselk! Er, Belselk. Regardless, Sheena Lepant is in prime form. Whether opting for his Lightning rune's sheer power, or the protective magicks of the Earth rune, the warrior-mage has little cause to fear. After all, the bigger they come, the harder they fall.

It's time for the Quarter Knight's Employee of the Month Belselk to get his shot in the RPGDL. Belselk comes in with some reliable heavy damage in Belselk Breaker, and a chance at paralysis with Blaster Howling. He's lacking in the speed department, and Sheena will be able to hit at his weak Magic Defense, but he's got the solid durability of a prime lizard metal demon. Is that not a winning combination?

Sheena VS. Bel... *Checks name again* Belselk. Um... wow... just wow. Doesn't Sheena get an Earth Rune at the very least? So... like, he gets to Counterattack Belselk's physical, deal Earth damage to him, and Canopy Defense whatever else Belselk might throw at him.
To be honest, Belselk died too quickly when I fought him before. An event like this can be chalked up to two things: Overleveling or Underpowered Boss. Now, if Belselk really has as bad magic defense as has been expressed... exactly what is that going to be like for him once Sheena Earthquakes him?
And if Sheena opts for the Lightning Rune... um... isn't that just mean?

Sheena vs. Belselk- Sheena had a lot of things going for him. Decent defense, decent damage and a choice of either the offensive Lightning Rune or the Defensive Eath Rune.
What he didn't have, however, was protection from status effects.
One turn of Blaster Howling followed by several turns of flail whacking later, and Sheena was ready for the Arena infirmary.
