With Raijin's opponent sleeping at the start of the match, his fans must be hoping that the Disciplinary Committee member will be wise enough to take advantage of the situation, not waking Juan before raising his stats and casting Aura. Assuming Raijin is bright enough to know it's okay to hit a sleeping opponent, he might just make sure his first blow is a Raijin Special. As long as he can take one of Juan's attacks without losing a kidney, Raijin will probably have this one wrapped up.

Having slept his way to victory over the Legendary Odin, Juan's still as ready to fight as he gets. The Bujutsu Master's good luck continues as he faces yet another opponent that can't avoid rousing him from his battlefield slumber, though admittedly Raijin's attacks are a bit more fearsome than Odin's. Once he wakes up, Juan's task of beating his opponent into submission should be a simple one, as he is certainly far stronger and faster than his opponent. In fact, Juan's victory is in the bag as long as he survives one shot of Raijin Special.

Dedicated though he is to his duties, Raijin can certainly respect someone wanting to take every chance they can to catch up on their sleep on the job.
As such, Raijin opened with his physical, rather than Raijin Special, in order to make the fight as fair as possible.
Sadly, Raijin forgot one of Juan's defining attributes. Although Juan does indeed start every match napping, when he awakes he's far to enraged to do much besides pound the living daylights out of his foes. Raijin tried to recover from this blunder, but once Juan is awake, it's pretty much all over.
