Season 2, Week 2
Vormav Tingel
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

An accomplished Divine Knight, Vormav is also a high ranking official in the Glabados Church and the leader of its Shrine Knights. As such, he is a master at dismantling any opponent foolish enough to rely on weaponry. But, against an opponent like Lunn who doesn't use weaponry then Vormav has a real fight ahead of him. Shellbust Stab should still be useful, but otherwise, this will be a battle of fist against blade, with Vormav showing why he was the head of the Shrine Knights.

The Master of Black Dragon Karate is known for two things: bad voice acting, and being the (second) strongest martial artist in the world of Lunar. Fortunately, being a martial artist means he has little to fear from Vormav's equipment-breaking techniques, making this more of the straight-out slugfest that Lunn likes. Lunn's trump card in a duel with a physical fighter like Vormav is his ability to heal and simultaneously raise his Defence, which Vormav will find hard to overcome. Also, despite not being as fast as his best student, Lunn is a fairly speedy fighter, so he should have the upper hand in that department over the heavy-armoured Shrine Knight.

Dark Holy Elf
As the battle began, Lunn smiled, and started using his secret Black Dragon techniques to raise his defence. Vormav promptly shattered his helmet and armour.

As the battle wore on, Lunn's defence-boosting effects faded, as they do in his game of origin. Unfortunately, his helmet and armour did not regenerate. Soon enough, his defence was so low that even Vormav could drop him in one hit, and the Shrine Knight did just that.

Vormav is an expert at disarming the enemy at a great price to their HP. Lunn, as a martial artist, has no equipment, nor any need for any.
