As the guardian of the Blue Star, it feels right that Lucia will be the one to end Lich’s run through Middle. Not only does the servant of Althena have the strongest magical defense in her group, but the added boost given by Magic Shield will make Lich’s magic feel like a pinprick. Throw in Heal Litany to give her an added edge and the fire-based Atomic Burn hitting a weakness, and it won't be long before the undead wizard is sent back to the grave for the third time. After all, if a lone white mage can kill the Fiend of Earth and rot with a steady stream of buffs, heals, and damage, why can't she? |

One opponent's ties to the mortal coil down, another to go. The undead horror that is Lich is cutting a swath through some of Middle's finest, and the devilish domination isn't stopping anytime soon. Though Lucia may be less of a mortal than Lich's latest foe, she'll still die the same - a simple casting of Hold to freeze the misguided matron of the Blue Star in her place followed by a chilling assault of ice magic will destroy her like any other opponent. Yes folks, the dead man is walking today - walking towards the shiny Middle championship he so well deserves. |
Jo'ou Ranbu Lucia was worried about her match. She wasn't able to stop Zophar, the embodiment of destruction, by herself... and there was no guarantee that she could take an undead, powerful fiend by herself either. She knew what she had to do to win, even if it was illegal. The next day, on the arena, Lucia appeared wearing her Blue Spire garments, enveloped by a powerful energy that shielded her from harm. Yes, she would partake from plot powers to win, and she would protect the DL from the Lich... even if this would be deemed inappropriate. Lich stared at her, somewhat surprised. Lucia, with her faint voice, stood up to the Fiend. "Detestable monster! In the name of the Blue Star, I will banish you from existence and guarantee the safety of Lunar!" And Lich glomped Lucia whole. He wasn't particularly smart, but eating people seemed to solve all problems until you face Demi, he learned from Jibril... somehow...
