Odessa is invading Middle this week, as two of the terrorist organisation's more psychotic officers seek to reach the semi-finals. Antenora doesn't intend to be outdone by her comrade-in-arms Judecca, so she had better win this week! Fortunately, that shouldn't be too difficult a task for the woman often considered to be Cocytus' best fighter. Nash is best known for his ability to inflict statuses, which will all prove worthless in this match. Moreover, Antenora is equally skilled with status infliction, and will happily send an Ephemeron or two at the young status-vulnerable mage. Even if Nash somehow evades a defeat on the sword he has used so often, Ephemeron's impressive damage will claim him anyway, leaving the path clear for a possible all-Odessa Middle finals.

Proving once again the power of chicken suits over free range plants, the hip and stylish Nash Rumack stands triumphantly atop the silenced, paralyzed, sleeping, petrified corpse of his hapless foe! With Spar down, Nash is going to have to use all of his knowledge and power to take down Antenora, one of Cocytus's most capable members. Thankfully for him, he's not a borderline schizophrenic, unlike his current opponent. With a clearer mind than his foe, Nash should easily be able to outsmart Antenora in the situations that count: after-all, wearing metal of any sort does make you an excellent lightning rod. With a couple castings of Thunderbolt, and perhaps a few "special deliveries", Nash should easily round up another nutcase, and continue his advance towards a Middle championship.

Today, we shall take a peek at some of RPGs more bizarrely named techniques. Since Antenora's currently fighting, let's start with her favorite spell, Ephemeron.
ephemeron \ih-FEM-uh-ron\, noun;
plural ephemera \ih-FEM-uh-ruh\:
1. Something short-lived or of no lasting significance.
Short-lived? Non-lasting? Well, that definitely describes Nash after he ate a few blasts of the attack.
Antenora: 31
Nash Rumack: 16
