Season 33, Week 1
Neimi
(Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones)

Neimi's long-awaited DL premiere may be a somewhat overwhelming endeavor, but she has no real reason to cry! Colm will be there to cheer for the archer girl, and a soldier accomplished as her should fear nothing! The Straylize priestess Philia Fellice may be a sweet and powerful purger of infidels, but, luckily, Neimi is far from that! Being a member of the valiant forces of Renais, she is quite safe against Philia's random cleansing urges. For this battle, the pink-haired archer will do what she does best: swiftly run, dodge and aim sharp silver arrows at her foe, who, being somewhat frail, will quickly fall to the rains of death coming from the sky. If all of Neimi's matches are this easy, the crybaby of Renais will surely have a Middle belt by the end of the season!

Straylize Temple's sweet, innocent priestess is about to face... a sweet, innocent girl archer. Who cries. A lot. While the normal result of this meeting should be them splitting a cheesecake like friends, this budding friendship has been splintered by the League's cruel schedules. Neimi may be faster, but Philia's powerful spells, which, due to blasting not only Neimi, but a large area around her, should avoid any counterstrikes, proving a valuable asset to Philia's cause. Or at least make Neimi cry. If this fails, Philia will have to fall back on her superior damage, and hope to fell Neimi within a few brutal castings of Divine Power. Not a foolproof plan, but solid. It's certain to be a close match, as such, and maybe due to that alone, cheesecake could be in these two's future still (...no, not like that)!

Philia and Neimi stood facing each other in the arena. Neimi's face was set in a hard, determined line, while Philia was practically smirking, an odd emotion to see on her face. Cloud, the judge of the match, looked at the two. "Ready, ladies? Then fight!"

Lightning rained from the sky. Arrows flew, Philia's blade flashed through the air. In the end, Philia was left kneeling before Neimi. Neimi strolled up to Philia, allowing the smallest of a smile to grace her lips. "Good match, miss Philia, but..."

Philia raised her head and whispered something to Neimi. The pink-haired girl let out a scream and ran out of the arena, crying. Smiling, Philia stood and accepted the ring-out victory from a now rather confused Cloud.

"I can't believe that worked!" Philia said happily as she relaxed in the inn. The rest of the cast looked at her in pure confusion. "What... did you do, there, Philia?" Stahn finally asked. Philia grinned at him and then looked up at the ceiling.

"I told Neimi that Colm badly needed her help and that he was suffering greatly, and that she should hurry back to her room to help him."

"...so you lied." Stahn said flatly.

"Weee-eeeell... not -exactly-." Philia grinned before pulling a pouch of money out of her pocket. "Colm hadn't seen Neimi for a while, and was, ah.... shall we say, eager, to see her again. He even paid me to get her back to him..."

The cast flinched as a loud set of banging sounds followed by groans emanated from the ceiling above them. Rutee looked up, then looked at Philia. "Ah. That sort of help..."
