Type advantages be damned, this leafy lizard isn’t going to lose his first match in the DL! While Blaziken may have the type advantage that’s oh-so-important in the pokemon games, Sceptile has some important advantages in the DL: namely. his lightning fast speed and debilitating Screech attack. Once the chicken’s already mediocre defenses are further lowered, it will be easy enough for Sceptile to finish him off with a Slam attack. |

Good news abounds for the blazing bird! He finally got his first match in the DL! Better yet, not only is it against another pokemon, but one who he easily beats! Blaziken really isn’t even going to have to try to win. His fire attacks were already noteworthy, but will utterly devastate the oversized, fire-vulnerable iguana. Blaziken even resists Sceptile’s strongest attacks, leaving him utterly helpless! Say it with me, folks. Fire beats grass. |
Taishyr It's one thing to be a Grass Pokemon and get burnt to death. It's another thing entirely to be a Grass Pokemon and have your body used as a funeral pyre for the rest of the opponent's opposition. And it's just saddening when the opponent is, of all things, a Fire Pokemon. All in all? Sceptile just conceded as soon as the match was announced. And then Blaziken Hadoken'd him in irritation.
