Season 40, Week 2
Gale
(Digital Devil Saga)

Striking a cool, collected pose, submachine gun in hand, eyes glinting into the shadows and that expression. Emotionless, fathomless. Gale, the cool intellect and brilliant tactician of Embryon, is ready to take down any opponent that the whims of the Duelling League care to place in front of him. A motion, and a demonic Gale, transformed completely, stands at the ready, prepared to bring down this pathetic soldier who stands before him, cowering inside a machine. And what an easy task it shall be! While this Tony may be quick to react in such a machine, Gale's brutal wind magics, physicals and durability will give him more than enough offense to rip his foe's contraption to shreds. A real man fights with his own wits and power, as Gale shall prove this day.

This glory-seeking soldier has told his former division to kiss his third-class ass and pulled himself back up to Middle to make a name for himself. And what an opportunity Tony has now! It's not every day that a mere third-class pilot can add an honest to badness demon to his kill record. Tony will bring everything he's got to bear against Gale, which includes the same kind of insane speed that his fellow WA4 bosses are known for, as well as solid damage with his impressive array of artillery. But most notably, Tony will grin like a mad fiend as his boss immunities make Gale's vaunted Mudoon instant death spell about as useful as a pop-gun. With the same power that stormed through Light, Tony will teach this demon who stands before him what real horror looks like.

"Ah, DLopolis." Lang grinned into the sunlight as he and Fuse strolled down the streets on patrol. "I have to thank you for getting me this job."

"Not a problem. Far preferable to home in many ways - away from the arguments and strife...-"

"You call that effective, soldier? Drop down and give me fifty more."

The two stopped in front of a crowd-gathering site - Tony's mec was stopped in the middle of the road, and Gale was standing over him with a machine gun, barking orders.

"You want to join the most elite fighting force this side of the Junkyard? You want to prove your capability in battle? You must first prove yourself!" Gale barked. "You cannot rely on your machines to do everything for you! You must have the strength to fight on your own."

"...stupid... kids...."

"Another fifty."

"Rrrrrrgh...."

Lang shrugged. "And then you get stuff like this. At least it's peaceful."

Fuse laughed darkly. "You weren't here during the Pervert Wars. Back in the day..."
