First Sacred Sister of Mille Seseau, militant feminist, White Silver Dragoon, and former Light finalist. With a resume like that, you wouldn't think Miranda would have to wait thirty seasons for another match, but such has been the case. Miranda proved she is more than a match for mages in Middle when she defeated Zhuzhen Liu, and seeks to further confirm this truth this week against Venusaur. Sure, Venusaur may not look like your typical mage, but make no mistake: both his damage and status attacks are Special in nature, meaning they will be completely ineffective against the incredible magic defense befitting the one who bears the title of "Sacred Sister". With superior speed and the devastating, parasitic healing White Silver Dragon summon to put this monster away, it looks like Miranda is finally going to make her brutal mark on the DL once again.

The renowned original Grass starter is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Venusaur comes slinging sharp plants and deadly powder to frighten all in Middle, and it has a startingly strange new competitor: Miranda, the White Dragoon archer from Legend of Dragoon's rather non-descript world. Now, her magical defense would be frightening to your average mage, right? Fortunately, Venusaur has plenty of tools to deal with that, alongside the magical durability to withstand a White Silver Dragon casting without much fuss. All Venusaur needs to do is connect a Sleep Powder, then a few uses of Growth to make even Miranda crumble under the might of a flurry of augmented Razor Leaves, capable of dicing just about anyone up. About as simple as one-two-three, and Venusaur doesn't even need a trainer to pull this off. It's finally time for the Pokémon league to shine!

Ahhh, the battle between a giant, animate plant, and a magical girl.
Despite tentacles being involved, this battle was actually remarkably benign.
Venusaur simply healed through her one dangerous shot of damage, puffed her with evidently pointless seeds, and proceeded to slowly whittle her life away before defeating her. Quite boring.
Three days later, Miranda, evidently out of her mind, proceeded to drive a portable howitzer into a match, killing twenty seven and injuring 179.
When asked why, the insane Miranda proceeded to discuss the merits of "those damned demonic butterfly birds they're everywhere oh god Melbu is spitting them at me NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!".
Venusaur, when interviewed, simply let out an exceedingly satisfied "Saur.", smiled a little, and waddled off.
The reign of Worry Seed Venusaur, sleep-stealing scrub-shattering Pokemon, has just begun.
Miranda: 17
Venusaur: 29
