Season 44, Week 1
Keneth
(Suikoden IV)

Keneth's not flashy in the least. It's easy to overlook Lazlo's thunder inclined friend, as shown by his long, long wait for DL combat. He is however extremely competent with both his sword and Lightning Rune, able to use both with ease. He'll be tapping into the power of his magic to smash this puny Elf. Genis is both slow and frail, with no defense against Furious Blow's deadly power. His Seven Star Sword is just as able to lay out Genis, with the small child having no defense against a quick strike from Keneth's one handed sword. No matter what brings the pain to Genis, the result is the same: Victory for the Knights of Obel.

Master magician and prolific wielder of the kendema, Genis is not to be taken lightly. The half-elf boy has a powerful and versatile arsenal of spells and is capable of dealing great damage in any elemental form. Why, if Keneth really wants to see the power of lightning, one powerful casting of Indignation ought to be enough to shut him up. Although he might not exactly be the best in terms of defense, who's to say he'll even need it? And even if Keneth does manage to land a spell on him, a rapid Force Field will all but annul any chance of Keneth making any noticeable harm. And I quote: "That's what you get for messing with me!"

Dhyerwolf
Keneth wasn't taking any chances in the arena, for he wasn't going to let a little kid beat him. He might usually depend on his sword to win him battles against the magically inclined, but he had another type of metal in mind of this match.

Genis came to match carrying on unusual object. The judges let it pass, for it appeared to be perfectly ordinary. After all, if Genis wanted to use a weathervane as a new weapon, it wasn't really against the rules.

"With this magical rod that contains the special power of Mithos and his soul, I can't go wrong! It was so nice of someone to send me this treasured possession of my friend that once tried to kill me!"

Keneth smiled to himself. He knew that sending an ordinary weathervane to Genis and writing a letter that it had Mithos' soul in it would guarantee that the twerp would carry it everywhere. With an impressive burst of magical energy, Keneth send countless volts of electricity into the air...which all happened to converge on Genis' weathervane. The pain knocked the frail half-elf right out.

"And I'm supposed to be the stupid one?" Lloyd asked from the audience.

Keneth: 28

Genis equips the sardonyx to negate the lightning attacks and adds a mystic symbol to speed casting. Then he adds Concentrate so he can't be interrupted. Then he can hammer away. If anything truly powerful comes out, theres always Force Field. So long as the fight drags out, we all know what an indignation in overlimit is capable of.
