With visions of chivalry dancing in his head, Seifer Almasy is one of the best gunblade wielding experts in all the worlds. The fact that that's a small group doesn't seem to bother him in the least. Of all the people at Balamb Garden, Seifer is the most efficient user of his Limit, the flaming Fire Cross. If he can manage to get it going, there are few in Middle who can withstand him. While he does have the initial advantage in damage, it remains to see if he'll be able to maintain it with the flurry of attacks that are sure to come his way. Of course, just one of them is enough to possibly activate his Limit...

The sharp-tongued Lilly might not strike most people as a strong fighter, but appearances can be deceiving. With her high score in Heavy Damage, she scores criticals very often, and she boasts above average Speed and Accuracy, along with good scores in Damage and Swing, allowing her to deal three solid, reliable attacks per round. She can further bolster her power with her Sword of Rage Rune, if necessary. Defensively, her Parry skill might come into play against Seifer's gunblade, are her Custom Chain Mail and respectable Armour Protect score most certainly will. Lilly has the power to destroy Seifer before his limit becomes a factor.

Despite being a great believer in chivalry, Seifer had run into a bit of a problem. Although he had been a knight once, his patron had not only gone mad, but had then promptly been well and truly destroyed by Squall. As such, he's a knight at heart, but now without a master. Of course, Lilly, who can never have too many lackies and apparently has a bottomless money pouch for hiring them will quickly set that right. And, since it's a win/win agreement, and Seifer is far more likely to blink first than the ever self-confident Lilly, soon enough he'll have a new master all for the low, low price of this match.
