Gordon's finished, alright. All his blather about god damn heroes won't do him a damn bit of good against the Mysidian prodigy Palom. Gordon's funny and always good for a hysterical quote or two, but most unremarkable as a fighter. The Defender of Earth has no defenses against Palom's half dozen blistering status attacks, let alone his offensive magic. What can Gordon do? He can hit Palom and hope he kills in a blow, but Palom's no little girl: unlike his "beloved" sister, he can take one of Gordon's hits! Gordon's going to be roasted as soon as Palom gets a turn, and nothing the heroic defender has will slow down the punk mage's barrage of deadly black arts. |

The Hero has returned! Captain Gordon has beamed back down to take the DL by storm! He's going to prove how powerful a superhero can be, no matter what foe is in his way. Certainly, it may be seen as unheroic to destroy an ordinary child, but Palom isn't ordinary! He throws around powerful black magic like a terrifying pro! Indeed, he fights like a demon! Captain Gordon will have to call on all of his skill with firearms to counter those threats! For each pillar of fire, he must shoot enough to make a wind to blow out the flames! For each Bio, he must aim so precisely as to destroy microbes! But fear not, for Captain Gordon, DEFENDER OF EARTH, is up to the challenge! |
Taishyr "So... Palom's now Defender of Earth?" Jennifer asked Gordon, lounging in a plaid swimsuit next to the hotel pool. "Yep! Kid seemed quite interested! I told him his training would be to beat this season's Middle in my place." Gordon replied cheerily. "Right. In other words, you get a lazy time while abusing slave labor." Jennifer muttered darkly. "What was that, my glorious assistant?" "Nothing!" Jennifer piped up cheerfully, before turning away. "Laharl really did rub off on you after all..." Palom: 32 |
