It's Axl! Fresh and ready to follow his comrades X and Zero in their success, Axl's armed and ready to go. Sporting the fanciest guns around, as well as some spiffy morphs, Axl's more than capable of taking down anything that stands in his way, and against the frail muse Rauny, he's well set for victory. Rauny's lightning magic, while normally scary against robots, won't phase Axl in the slightest, and once she's reduced to her puny slaps, she won't stand a chance of taking down Axl in a straight up fight. Axl's Stealth Mode prevents him from receiving any damage from Rauny's attacks, giving him all the time in the world he needs to land his strongest skills, including the foxy Ninetails attack, on the not-so-amused muse. The future is bright for Axl this season - after this easy fight, he'll get a taste of what exactly he's fighting for! |

Hikash's rebellious daughter knows not about the dystopian Giga City or the robots that rule it. Rauny knows about rebellions set in ancient times, against evil wizards and cruel overlords. Rauny's sense of honor and justice is what led her away from the icy embrace of Endora's cruel empire, fleeing even her beloved father and country to do what is right. The physical side of the first female Paladin of Zeteginia is as deadly as her expert pedigree would indicate, with her excellent stats and the power Thunder Flare spell. A couple of bursts of this should wreck Axl, who relies on the power of electronics to do everything. Excellent evasion should slow down Axl's physical assault; speed means she will run circles around X's ally. All of the defensive tricks in the world won't save Axl from a good beating at the hands of Rauny! |
SageAcrin It's not so much that Rauny lost, this battle. Losing is, for a warrior, something that must be accepted every so often. In combat, no one can be perfect. --- "It's the full body sunburn." Rauny grumbled, as she peeled some skin off her arm. "I swear, those animations are misleading. He shoots you a lot more than it looks. And then finishes with shards of burning energy. And he doesn't aim worth a damn. I swear, I'm not going to be able to sit comfortably for weeks." She finished with a sigh. Axl: 22 |
