Season 53, Week 3
Ashton Anchors
(Star Ocean: The Second Story)

Oh, oh! A victory! Does this mean Ashton's luck is finally turning up for the better? God bless the stars if so, because Ashton's picking up a championship if his skills aren't hampered by his permanent cold feet! Adray Lasbard may have quite a big katana to show, but his swordskills aren't really up to par - nor is the magic he supposedly specializes in! Ashton, with his superior speed and technique, can shred the somewhat frail old man with a well-placed Hurricane Slash, and the speed difference will be more than enough to blitz through his magic and claim the win.

Adray won his match but was hilariously unsuccessful in his attempt to marry Lun off to his daughter. Not to be thwarted, however, Adray sallies forth to descend upon his next unsuspecting victim. Before Ashton knows it, he'll be an elegantly frozen statue ready to be carted off to stand before Clair's critical eye. Ice Needle chains result in another job well done for Adray. And, honestly, if this dragon-accursed thug seems to be able to put up a fight, near-bottomless healing reserves and effective offense from other sources will just seal Ashton's fate quite brutally.

Taishyr
Two swords versus one sword.

Two swords and three mouths versus one sword and one mouth.

Three sets of eyes versus one.

Adray refused to participate, as Gyoro and Ururun were separate entities and thus Ashton was receiving outside support. Ashton, not willing to explain the situation -again-, accepted the win.
