The citizens of Kanto and Elibe are out in full force this season, and here the two lock horns. As one of the best-known representatives of his world, Venusaur desires to win this as much as its uncomplicated little mind will allow, and it's in a pretty good position to do it. The plan's perfectly simple: Put Raven to sleep then calmly cut him apart. Against Raven's terrible resistance, sleep powder shouldn't need more than one try to knock him out for good and chalk up another win for the monstrous guys.

A mercenary's gotta do what pays the bills. So when Raven was approached with an innocent-sounding "gardening" job, he signed right up. Little did he know, it was instead one of the trickiest to battle Pokémon, Venusaur. Fortunately, however, Raven has all the tools he needs for this job. His impressive dodging skills mean it's going to take several wasted turns before Venusaur's Sleep Powder hits, and with his sky-high HP, speed and trusty Silver Sword, there's no doubt about his ability to win a slugging match.
