Season 14, Week 2
Vormav Tingel
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

Vormav might not have the power of the Leo Zodiac stone in this match, bu he's more than willing to show that a lion easily trumps a snake. Against the purely physical General Viper, Vormav's innate Defense Up ability will be quite useful, as will his Mighty Sword skills. Add in his counters, and it's easy to see why Vormav is so confident in his chances this week. Viper is the first stepping stone on his quest to join his daughter in Heavy, and there's nothing the Dragoon can do but grin and bear it.

General Viper enters his first Duelling League match ready to defend the honor of the Acacia Dragoons! While his opponent may be ready to shatter the general's defenses, he'll be unable to touch the fearsome Viper's Venom, and with the sword in hand and the powerful healing of his FlagBearer technique, Viper is more than capable of felling his knightly foe. It's a match of veteran swordsman, and the good General is intent on proving that his resolution and nobility will triumph over the Shrine Knight's tricks and deceit any day.

Sage Acrin
One would figure this to be a bland match between two characterless tanks.

However, as it turns out, the match had the unfortunate rare mishap of being during Chocobo mating season.

No one was really quite sure what to do when Viper was chased out of the arena by a flock of horny Chocobo...or why he was being chased. However, it was declared a ring out, and Vormav won the match.

Meanwhile, Celia leaned back and smiled. For once, being able to Allure monsters to do her bidding had paid off. Especially considering that Vormav now owes her...
