Season 20, Week 3
Dominia
(Xenogears)

Dominia, the hot-headed leader of Solaris' Elements, made her debut in the Arena last week, and now desires to bring some real glory to her as-of-yet unsuccessful squad. As the first of the Elements to manage to eke out a victory, she's already made an impression, but the chip on her shoulder is far too large to let it end at that. Her skill with a longsword, no doubt taught to her by Kahran Ramsus himself, will put to the test - along with her speed and evasive action - as she faces off with Tiamat, one of the original RPG dragons. Above all, Dominia's victory is almost ensured not by martial skill, but poetic justice. Who better to take down a flighty beast of air, than the Element of Earth?

The windy wyrm, Tiamat, seems to have shown unequivocally that Delita Hyral was nothing more than - if you will forgive the pun - a bag of hot air. The next test for this twisted tormentor of tornadoes is yet another creature who claims to be master of Elements, although more than just one. A sword and a fancy title do not frighten the Fiend of Air, however, as she will soon demonstrate by commanding the whiplike winds to rend Dominia's flesh from her bones. The dragon queen's deadly breath weapons will quickly eat their way through Dominia's paltry human durability, leaving the pretender a charred and pointed example of the powers of the Four Fiends.

Dominia, for all her skills as a swordswoman, had one slight disadvantage in this match.

Tiamat was a dragon.

Dragons were as big as gears.

Gears had the tendency to kill humans in one blow.

Thus, the match was settled the moment Tiamat put her best foot forward, and stomped the Element leader flat.

Dominia: 10
Tiamat: 41
