What can a little girl like Meredy do against an armored dragoon? A whole heck of a lot if she has a helper like Destiny! When Meredy faces Albert in the dueling league today, it's going to come down to which fighter can obliterate the other first. Both competitors have a lot of oomph to their offense, with Meredy's potent Destiny power coming against Albert's impressive spear techniques. However, the earth elemental assault of Destiny combined with Albert's bad magic defense and earth weakness make this battle surprisingly lopsided. Once all that earth power comes flowing, Albert is gonna be crushed like a pancake. He'll be lucky if he can walk after Meredy gets done with him! |

Albert may not look the part, but he certainly has the panache to stand for his name and country. As the king of Serdio and a Dragoon, he wields his spear and powers to help his people and his world. However, how does this relate to fighting an annoying little girl? At all? Meredy is quite an odd bump in Albert's dueling career, that's for sure. But, child or not, as a soldier he must not back down from a fight. Meredy is just a vanilla mage with little in the way of actual tricks - certainly not enough to handle Albert's Rose Storm and Dragoon sturdiness. A few spear stabs will end this quickly and hopefully painlessly, and then Albert may be able to move towards less embarrassing challenges. |

Reeve looked to the king with a slight grin. "Was it worth it to buy one of my Cait Sith dolls?" "Completely." The king smiled contently. "Better than fighting such a lass in the arena. I'd not be able to sleep with myself if I did so. And the cost total?" Reeve passed him a slip of paper. Albert took a glance, before his eyes narrowed on Reeve. The Shin-Ra executive shrugged. "You paid for the best in customized AI there, friend." "How much can I get if I apply the Albert's Royal Discount coupon?" Albert asked casually. "What coupon?" Reeve asked, bemused. "I don't remember acceptin-" Albert raised his spear to face Reeve's left eye, a slight grin on his face. "nnnnnnnnnnnot that I remember all the coupons I issue! Of course we'll accept that one! Hold on a second and let me check with my manufacturer..." Reeve ducked out, leaving Albert to sit there watching Meredy and Quicky ride on the Cait Sith doll. Meredy: 18 |
