Usually when Zidane is confronted with a beautiful woman, he can think of nothing but wooing her. Luckily, he’s fighting against Jill. Without any temptation to distract him, Zidane is quite a fearsome Middle. His trademark Soul Blade will wreak havoc upon the dragonrider. Doom or Mini would both be perfect tools to take down the dragon rider, either killing her quickly or giving her Mint like damage and as well as boosting his damage 50%. With no status protection, Jill has no defense against such an accurate move. And wouldn’t a Mini-Jill on a dragon be the perfect gift for Garnet or Eiko? It would be a living kite! |

There was a time in her life when this battle might have scared Jill, but after her time in Ike's company the prospect of fighting laguz isn't quite so bad. Granted, she's never fought a monkey before but... huh? You mean Zidane isn't a laguz? He can't turn into a giant monkey with double the stats and evade to make even the most focused snipers blanch? Well, this suddenly became an immensely simple match. A playboy thief isn't going to pose much threat to a hardened and agile warrior like Jill, and he's not going to get much use out of his silly status tricks and toys when he's been hit really hard with an axe in the face. |
Tide Do you know what happens when you tag a wyvern rider with Mini? Zidane doesn’t, but he sure thought it would be his best chance at a victory. This surely couldn't fail. --- “What the heck is he doing, swatting flies?” Duran asked from the judge’s panel as he watched Zidane flail around. His thief sword was too big and inaccurate to bring what looked a small flying speck around him. So instead, he decided to swing his arms instead. “Kind of. He used mini on Jill and now he can’t see where she is”, Squall explained. The entire panel of judges continued to watch as Zidane kept trying to swing at something - looking more and more like an idiot as he was doing it. “…Are we just going to watch him fail - erm, flail around?” Guy finally asked. Zidane started slapping himself at this point. It was very evident he had not expected this to occur. “Well, the match TECHNICALLY isn’t over. But…it’s not like Jill can really finish him. So you know what? Let’s just bet on how long she can annoy Zidane for.” “Loser has to analyze Chrono Cross symbolism and take Brahne out on Thanksgiving?” Guy looked nervously at the other two and frowned. “Can I NOT be part of this?” And it was obvious that he would -have- to.
