One of God's Ten Wise Men, Jibril has known some real power in his lifetime. Even though he's no Indalecio or Marsilio, this wise man is dangerous in his own right. Jibril is notorious because... HE EATS PEOPLE! That's correct, he removes them from battle by sucking them into his cloak. This may not seem scary, but there's one major advantage to this way to dispose of opponents: It cannot be guarded against. All Jibril needs to do in this battle is eat Beowulf, and that'll give him the win. Jibril's decent HP and defense will ensure that a Shock won't off him before he dines on Temple Knight this week. And did we mention that status attacks mean nothing to Jibril?

Beowulf is relying on his outstanding physical evasion to win this match. With his starting Crystal Shield and Feather Mantle, it's hard to hit him, let alone eat him! While Jibril isn't weak to most of Beo's statuses, his damage is weak enough so that Beowulf can easily heal the damage away with Drain.

Sir Alex
Defense doesn't save you from Jibril. Evasion doesn't save you from Jibril. Speed and ranged attacks save you from Jibril.
Beo... lacks speed.
A giant sucking sound was heard from the south, as all of our tax dollars- er, Temple Knights got taken to Mexico by Jibril.

Jibril had a simple strategy, and one that worked quite well. He ate stuff. However, Beowulf also had a simple strategy that worked even better. Stay away and use Drain. Four drains later, and yet another teamster lay fallen before Beo's sword magic.
