Ya know, being a midboss, Raijin knows what it's like to play the role of worthless henchman. So, in a sense, he feels bad for his opponent... ya know But then, Raijin never was good at thinking, so "feels bad" may just be equated to "hit him harder with Raijin Specials." Aha, but then Cador has counters, right? Well, Raijin just HAPPENS to have some... wonderful... ways to deal with those! And unlike his opponent, Raijin has -some- mobility, so he can even try to run around his opponent! Well, that's pointless, but still! Anyhow, this fight will be an easy win for him, ya know?

Bulnoil's death knight is truly a terrifying vision to behold. Clad in black armor and wielding a massive axe, this undead creature possesses both powerful physical attacks and unholy magical attacks. His counterstrikes alone are enough to make Raijin sweat bullets, let alone Cador's superior speed and unerring reflexes. A single Dolorous Strike will bring Fujin and Seifer's friend near death, and nothing the committee member possesses can do more than stagger Cador. And you have to do far worse than that to stop the Esgares Empire's Death Knight from killing everything in sight.

Cador doesn't suffer fools gladly.
Which made this all too frustrating of a battle for him.
After all, the judges, in their wisdom, had decided to arbitrarily hold this battle on his home world.
It turns out that the distance he slowly had to plod is no real bar to sound.
Certainly, Cador would win the battle. He'd won so many before.
But listening to Raijin's comments on religion was too high of a price.
He's not a Scientologist, but he thinks they have some okay ideas, ya know? Those aliens are really out there, Seifer told him so.
Raijin: 9
Cador: 23
