Season 53, Week 2
Setzer Gabianni
(Final Fantasy VI)

Ah, yes, the dice shuffle, the odds of life and death dancing fiercely in the battlefield. Setzer lives for the thrill of a gamble, and he's about to up the ante with his finest chips! It's a pity that a little girl has to be involved in Setzer's betting, but a player needs to learn the rules at some point, no? Yulie will be for a rude awakening against Setzer's Fixed Dice rolls, keeping up the pressure against her frail build and poor fighting ability. And, sooner or later, the gambler will land a perfect twelve, which the Paladienne can do nothing against. Setzer's ace may be quite a potluck, but he knows when to put his own cards on the table - and this time is now.

Hot on the heels of her brother, Yulie strives to match up to his outstanding DL career. After all, she's no slacker at stalling herself. She's determined to further improve her standing and isn't about to let Kresnik get too far ahead of her! The holy Paladienne faces a less than completely virtuous opponent - a shady gambler? That's rather unkind, at least. She'll just have to hand him out some righteous justice, then. Well supported to deal with anything he has to throw at her with the Protect and Quicken spells, alongsideplentiful healing, the kind Paladienne will just chip until the time for a decisive Material casting - or a well-placed Sacrifice - propels her to rightful victory!

"To harm a beauty as fair as yours...? I cannot do it, not in this way. Let us settle this with a coin flip, mademoiselle?" Setzer crooned. Yulie, for her part, was offended.

"Look, I don't know what you want from me, but stay the hell away!"

"Come now. It's simple. Call it in the air-" Setzer flipped the coin- "Heads, or taOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW"

Yulie finished digging her heels into Setzer's foot. "You are a piggish man and should be ashamed of yourself!"

"...m-my-myfoo-fooooot..." Setzer muttered, clutching it in pain.

"Hmph. Get out of here, and do not return! I don't want to see your face again!"

Setzer left the field post-haste, leaving Yulie the victor.
