Ken may look like your typical elementary school student, but catch a glimpse of him past his curfew during the dark and forbidding night of the Midnight Hour, and he’ll be happy to show you to his true might. As a Persona user, he has access to a variety of blistering techniques, including powerful instant death and a deep reserve of full healing. His opponent Guy may have some fearsome ability with a sword, but if Ken’s Hama can check his RES, the march of the swordsmaster should be cut quite short this season. And even if it doesn’t, Ken may be able to get in a lucky strike or the first action, and end the fight there and then. |

Guy's fought everyone from Kurando's hot mother to super geniuses in Heavy, just barely losing each time. A downgrade is an insult to him, and the swordmaster's rage is going to be directed all at poor Ken. It almost isn't fair to pit a child against one of the best fighters in Middle, but so it goes. Ken's only hope of stopping Guy before getting shredded by Killing Edge physicals is a lucky hit with instant death, but sadly for Ken his Hama- class skills rely on Luck and not Guy's terrible RES to connect. It is going to be a very, very rough match for Ken, who will be lucky to get his first turn, let alone a second or third after Guy starts to wind up and bring the pain. |
SageAcrin One quick stroke. And it was over. --- "MY LUCKY FEATHER MAN RANGER R ACTION FIGURE!? YOU SON OF A-" Ken's anguished scream, as he looked down at the cloven figure in his hands, could only be described as demonic. And then the arena blew up. No one's really sure why, but the important thing is that it was definitely destroyed. Of course, Ken survived, and Guy didn't, but that wasn't really relevant. Ken had been defeated even before that, and he knew it in his heart as he entered in a forfeit. But hey, a little glue and everything's fine.
