Eleni is well trained in magic and martial arts. Being well practiced thanks to her times with Ash and company, she knows how to heal wounds and lay out hard hits to everyone, smashing faces in while keeping herself up and running with ridiculous ease! She's going to have to take a lot of those hits as she endures and keeps slugging things out, but Eleni's good at that. She'll heal, heal, heal and heal some more to get rid of her problems, but it'll be enough to shake the leafy Pokemon Meganium and its tanky ways - as it lacks much else but endurance to bring to the table in a duel, and against a thinking, planning human that just isn't enough to be threatening. She'll beat the monster and move on to the next round.

Mega! Megaaa? Meganium steps into the arena this week, hoping to do better than its successor, Sceptile, did last season. Once again, it's grass pokemon against mage, but Meganium has a very different fighting style. Should Eleni bring her magical Sorcerer class to bear against Meganium, she will find her offence swiftly thwarted by the tanky dinosaur's damage-halving Light Screen, and healed away by Synthesis. Ninja may present a better option for her, but with Meganium's sturdier frame, he should be able to outlast her pitiful MP supply in a battle of attrition. Meganium even has Safeguard in case Eleni gets it into her head to try any status attacks. Looks like an easy win for the Johto grass starter.
