Season 11, Week 2
Taloon
(Dragon Warrior IV)

Even by the standards of RPG merchants (whose numbers sport wonders like Neko, Hammer and O'aka), Taloon is a wily and resourceful fellow. He managed to unite a kingdom, find a legendary treasure, and even arm a whole country... all to buy his own shop! It's no wonder that his skills put him in Middle, despite lacking slightly in the battle department. Enrique is the perfect victim for his tricks, too. Being a prince of a rich country, the kid's never had to buy or sell anything in his life. With a little bit of luck and his typical skill, Taloon should not only win the match, but likely make a profit on it, too!

Enrique is no stranger to the arena, having been trained from an early age in the way of the sword. This week, the Prince of Valua gets to test his mettle - if his first opponent could even be called a test! Taloon is a slow, bumbling oaf who will have a very rough time fighting off the well-trained prince's skillful attacks. Moreover, even the prince's somewhat frail form can withstand Taloon's pathetic abacus beatings, allowing him to easily build up and unleash a powerful The Judgment finisher upon the poor, fat fool. With supplementary magicks and schooling in military science, Enrique is quite prepared to strike a blow for Valua and advance onward.

The Judgement is a move that shouldn't see much use in middle. Taloon's lack of offense combined with his speed mean that Enrique has time to get his best attack off.

Which means that the crafty merchant got his time in the sun in Valua's arena.
