Motavian agent Rolf stormed through Heavy for a championship six seasons ago, and now the misfit lab-experiment he fostered seeks to make a similar mark in Middle. Nei's first opponent may be a freakish tank, but he's also saddled with the low speed that often comes with high durability. The fleet-footed numan can run circles around Ragnar's laborious swordstrokes and use the doubleturns for some much-needed healing. It's just a matter of chipping away and dodging, and as long as Nei can avoid getting smacked with a critical, she stands a good chance of prevailing in her debut match.

Ragnar's history is one of beginnings and endings. His tale was the first to be told out of five, but he was the last to join Solo's journey to stop the power of evolution. It's only fitting that he's the last of his cast to get a shot in the DL. Ragnar looks to have his swordwork and durability prove his might as a fighter much as the same traits proved him to Solo. Ragnar's sword is methodical and precise, and although he lacks the tricks that other swordsmen play, it doesn't mean that a few blows from his weapon won't strike down even the mightiest of foes - especially not the slight, fragile Nei.
