After a long, long wait of fifteen seasons, the gods have finally smiled on Red XIII: he's getting a match at last. As the last member his esteemed cast to make his debut, Nanaki obviously has a lot to prove. With his high speed, good physical damage, and limit variety with Howling Moon and Lunatic High, he has little cause to fear Mushroom Kingdom's oft-kidnapped princess. Red XIII's ready to go, and with the pride of Cosmo Cannon on the line, he's not going down easy. |

Toadstool's first match since her humiliating downgrade is against the feline warrior Red XIII, and this seems to be the match for her: her status won't be of use, but she still has near-limitless healing and a painful smack with the Frying Pan. Psych Bomb is not nearly as damaging, but allows her to chip past Red's Limits. Safe from Stardust, she could the easily heal any wounds the Cosmo Warrior might inflict. The DL will soon realize that a frying pan and a pink dress can go a long way, especially when they belong to Toadstool. |
Jo ou Ranbu The battle between Red XIII and Toadstool was fierce. The sweet princess threw her bombs everywhere in the field. Nanaki countered by casting fire spells and attacking. It seemed to run into a stalemate... until Red XIII's eyes flared up. He shook his head after taking one more bomb from Toadstool, and howled to the moon.... when a massive cosmical energy started to form in front of him. It concentrated, calling the power of the universe, and it flared up as a gigantic beam of star power, hitting Toadstool right on. And a blinding light enveloped the arena. The light waned, the dust settled. And Toadstool was seen lying on the ground, seemingly drained out. Red XIII took his steps slowly towards the princess... and he sniffed her. Then, she smacked him with her frying pan really hard, causing him to fall down on the floor. Princess Toadstool, then, dusted her dress, fixed her hair and left the arena humming a tune.
