Berle vs Menardi
RC Berle has resistance to fire. Berle has an edge over Menardi. Menardi has powerful non-elemental attacks. Nobody has an edge now. Berle has Meta-Barrier. Berle has the edge. Menardi has healing with Wish to use during Meta-Barrier. Menardi now has a slight edge. Berle cannot heal the pain of an Impacted physical. Menardi has a bigger edge. Menardi has Death Seize, which when it fails (as it does here) deals great damage. Menardi shoves Berle off of her large edge. Berle falls down, and hits Reality. Songi vs Necron
HydrogaZero Necron is a lamer who only comes to try and clean up after Kuja did all the hard, dirty work. Songi actually does his work, and he has an attack called Genocidal Cannon. Necron bows out in defeat because he can't face the coolness of that name. Songi: 7 chipstick85@aol.com
Solo vs Dario
RC While Solo has the impressive Fendspell, he decided instead to use Transform to become Dario. A pity that as a PC, he did not have Dario's counterattacks, boss HP, or reusable techs. As such, he was now in less than a good position. Even worse when in desperation he used one of his techs, and the Black element of it activated Dario's healing. A pity, it is, really. Precis Neuman vs Cecil Harvey
Dark Holy Elf Having proven that she was capable of defeating both strong fighters and strong mages, Precis came into her semi-final match confidant that she'd show the paladin the door, too. Right up until her trademark Barrier attack did nothing more than leave a few scratches on Cecil's crystal armour. Precis did note that her good fortune continued, though, as Cecil was far too gentlemanly to taunt her with a "Heeeere's Mr. Enemy!" as his Ragnarok put an end to her Heavy run. Precis Neuman: 6
Ramsus, Kahran vs Shana
Dark Holy Elf Well, both are mental wrecks. And in a battle between a pair like this, both of whom are defensive fighters to boot, it's not a question of who's better, but who WON'T break down and start sobbing on the arena floor first. On one hand, Ramsus is probably the more unstable of the two, having been driven to near madness by constant taunts of -Trash-, and a string of never-ending defeats at the hands of Fei. He makes Shana's cluenessness and pathological cowardice seem almost normal. On the other hand, Ramsus arrived at this condition only due to the skillful manipulation of Miang, Krelian, and others. Shana, meanwhile, owes her condition to Dart, who couldn't manipulate his way out of a paper bag. Ramsus, Kahran: 11

Dark Holy Elf Fortunately for Nash, all that heavy armour Vormav wears makes him an excellent target for lightning attacks. Unfortunately for Nash, all that light armour he wears makes him an excellent target for Mighty Sword. Vormav Tingel: 13
Rena Lanford vs Jean
none listed Rena walked into the ring, and eyed Jean in a... rather hungry fashion. Instead of her trusty Fallen Knuckles, Rena brought.. an all purpose knife! She went over to Jean, and began talking. "Did you know that I'm a world famous cook, on top of being a martial arts master?" I'm a master of French cooking.. Jean remembered what happened the last time he met a French cook. He ran screaming from the arena, without looking back. Rena waited till Jean had left the arena before giggling.
