superaielman Edge finished his beer and looked up at the rather large viewscreen in the bar. Emelious and Piastol were battling to the death for Godlike supremcy. But to the shock of everyone, Piastol was.. losing. Every Tempest Dance was met by a Spirit Wail. Emelious even was nearly a match for Piastol in speed.. Grinning, Edge ordered another beer. Piastol was near death already, and Emelious was.. hurting but had a long way to go. She had no chance of recovering. A tap on his shoulder got his attention. Behind him stood Yuri, who had been avoiding Edge of late. "Okay, Edge. Fess up. What'd you do to give Emo enough spine to stand up and fight Piastol?" "What makes you think.. okay, stop glaring at me. I just told Emelious that he had to be able to fight off Piastol if he ever wanted respect in the arena. Plus..." "..Plus?" "Plus, I may or may not have told him that Piastol was part of the creative team that put his universe together. It was easy to do, as Violetta and Piastol are so close to each other in design." ..Oh boy." "I also may or may not have told him that Piastol was responsible for the existence of Alonso, Ulf, and his own needless torment. He was surprisingly cool about the latter two, but all it took was a mention of a scrapped Alonso/Alfina romance that she wanted.." "You're a sick bastard, Edge." "Thanks! I appreciate that- woah, who knew that Piastol would try to fight after her arms were ripped off? This fight's great!" Piastol: 30 SageAcrin

SageAcrin The fight was...taking...so...long... Elc was casting spell after spell to maintain himself, beating against the durable shell that was Heat's tentacle barrier. But it was taking longer. And longer. And longer. And this time he didn't have any help. No, this long battle would last ages, it would take years, it would encompass his entire life, it would... --- "Why'd Elc just start foaming at the mouth?" Poco asked, stunned, as Elc, after staring for a moment after his fourtieth attack, simply collapsed. "...flashbacks." Sania said grimly. "It's so sad that we had to use him as bait against the Dark One. He just can't handle fights that long, anymore. The memories get to him." Elc: 24 Smashy My name is what Eph is going to do to Worker. Reginleif or Siegmund hitting a weakness twice does a nice job of spoiling the spoilerbot. Worker 8: 21 toteone@gmail.com
legendaryflyingfailure Tidus did the smart thing for this fight. He let someone else think for him. Luca came up with the following. 1.Buckler with auto haste. 2.A very special sonic blade. Tidus felt very confident but was somewhat unsure as to whether it truly was enough to win. Luckliy there was more up Luca's sleeve than her arm. As the match began Tidus felt a strange sensation. Like he was growing weaker and yet stronger than ever before. His HP and MP were switched!!! Unsure as to how this happened but now completely assured in his victory the onslaught began. Someone in the crowd has cast a spell to invert his HP and his MP. He now had 9999 MP. The "special" sonic blade was equipped with the one MP cost ability. Fourteen months and 9999 quick hits later the single longest and potentially worst assbeat of the DL's history was over. Luca paid a visit to see Geddoe in the RPGICU accompanied by a tall thin young man with a lean look of street smarts who wore a jacket that was many sizes too small for him. She carried a suitcase. Inside the suitcase were a variety of contraptions of her own make which included a "make your own elixers" kit and several torture devices that only a genius of her caliber could begin to begin to describe. Also included was Nadia's amulet that opened alternate demensions-to insure that she had privacy. Geddoe's single unbadaged eye widened at the sight of her. She spoke very slowly and deliberately. "I believe you have learned your lesson Geddoe, I really do. Next time you and Issac have a match I believe you will fight fair instead of recruiting an illusionist princess whore to play mean tricks and lure him into the women's locker room with that little slut Kasumi. I really don't think you'll ever do that again." A single drop of sweat fell into Geddoe's unblinking eye. "Unfortunately," Luca continued as all three shifted to another demension, "I have an arrangement of sorts with the gentleman you see here. He wishes to join the DL and your absence would incite just such an opportunity. Also, very much to your misfortune I have several toys of my own invention that I have never had an opportunity to test properly. You will make a fine test subject." To everyone else they appeared to be gone for five minutes. A very few noticed that the thin age lines starting to creep across Luca's face upon their return. Geddoe hasn't stopped crying since last Christmas. ****later, in an undisclosed location*** "This will get me into the DL?" He asked. "With Geddoe out of commission there will be an opening in the heavy division. With your versatility you could easily rise to the Godlike ranks. Not to mention I personally could use you. For a variety of things." "What about Isaac?" "To hell with him. He and that slut Kasumi are perfect for each other anyway. And they'll both get what's coming soon enough." Hell hath no fury Isaac. Hell hath no fury. Tidus: 54 SnowFire
SageAcrin Such a sad battle, this. Two people. Both with mantles of great responsability that they hold up nobly-one a king, the other a Valkyrie. Both archers, both faithful to their worlds and their people, both intelligent, couragous, probably a bit stiff and stilted overall... Of course, one has the power of a goddess on her side. Perhaps this match wasn't entirely fair. Perhaps it was, though, this is an RPG goddess after all. Regardless, perhaps that one flaw was enough to tip the scales into Silmeria's favor. Then again, Garr wouldn't hold a fair loss against anyone...and indeed, two souls so alike... --- "So, when are you getting a boyfriend?" Silmeria asked Hrist with a giggle, after sending Garr off to get her a drink. "Yes, I'm quite curious to hear this as well." Lenneth noted. "Even that psuedo-Valkyrie has a boyfriend. You don't want us to have...improper rumors about us, do you?" "I kindly request that the two of you drop dead." Hrist stated flatly, as she walked off scowling. Garr Kelvin: 10 cheetah7071
Dunefar So, why DOES Wiegraf win? When you think about it, he doesn't have a record of coming out on top. Leader of the Death corps? Defeated by Ramza and the Death Corps were wiped out. What about when he became a Church Knight? Defeated by Ramza, possessed by Lucavi, then killed by Ramza. So after that, this boils down to one thing. Maya, you are no Ramza Beoulve. Good day and enjoy your Holy Explosion to the face. Wiegraf Folles: 41 toteone@gmail.com
SageAcrin Koyu was confident. After all, Miranda may have advantages in many areas, possibly, but he held one trump card she could never have. With the Gale Rune at his side, he'd rule Light! As he should have ages ago! Or at least get some money, which, really, was all that mattered. And maybe Gijimu would stop taunting him about his own championship. The Lampdragon Bandits were still well off after that, but more cash couldn't hurt, could it? --- Miranda smirked. Koyu's mouth hung open. How had she done it? One strike...and....he...couldn't move...couldn't...breathe... Koyu fell lifeless to the arena floor. "Hehe. I love this place." Miranda laughed, as she glanced at the runes on her hands. "Not only did it work, the irony's great." She added, noting the Boost, Double-Edge and Fury Runes covering her body. "That'll show him to get lucky with Runes." "Hey, honey, you did great!" Miranda called out in addition, to a pile of rubble. "Next...time...could...you please...get...some...other...diversion for the judges...please?" Alonso, most of his bones broken, mumbled weakly from within the rubble. Miranda: 37 Lezard Valeth Let's just say that Viki teleported Cid's own airship on him as soon as the referee give the go ahead. "Great", mumbled Yuna, the leader of the DL's healing league. "Can't they ever have a match that don't involve squashing people to pancake?" "Look at it this way", Mariel said. "At least we don't have to reconstruct their ash like last week." Cid: 42 Jatsuya
