Tylor H. Cyril vs. Ghaleon "Excellent!" Cyril ranted to him as the various Godlike matches went on. "One by one they eliminate themselves! Soon, only one of them shall remain, beated and bloodied! And then I, Cyril, shall attack that one after he has done all my work for me, and I shall crush him! And then I shall be champion of Godlike!" His deranged laughter was cut short as a dry voice spoke up behind him. "You know, it does help if you don't tell us these things." Cyril whirled around to face noone else than Ghaleon. "Damnit! Why is it that my pawns always sneak up on me while I'm scheming!" Cyril raged at the Magic Emperor. "So many reasons, I doubt we have the time to list them all." "Well, it's not like I need all of you. My plan will still work fine even if I deal with you myself!" Cyril said as he used a Wind of Destruction, only to see it falter against Ghaleon's Chaos Shield. "Ah yes, because that plan worked so well last time. Come, Cyril! You couldn't even defeat a group of half-trained weaklings. What hope do you have against the likes of me!" Ghaleon sneered as he recast his Chaos Shield... "Last time was... a slight miscalculation. But now it shall work! now is my time!" He said as he recast Wind of Destruction to a similar effect. "Oh, it's certainly your time. Time to die that is!" And with that, Ghaleon used his Fate Storm which, somewhat surprisingly, took down the Wise Man in a blow. Ghaleon: 19 Eternal Spirit

Tylor H. Basic rules of RPGs state, that the best way to heal undead is to hit them with death spells. Which means, that while the living are in for a rough fight against Erim, our unsent maester is her worst nightmare. Toss in quadra cast level 3 elemental spells, and it looks like poor Erim is getting packed off to yet another sequel. Erim: 4 Superaielman Fate Storm pastes Droguza. No amount of speed, ranged damage, or boss HP will change that. Droguza: 0 Starphoenix While Altima is quite the stinker for a final boss, and Georg does have a remarkable amount of attack, levels, popularity... You're wondering where I'm going with this, aren't you? At any cost, despite the general craptastic difficulty of Altima, there's one place where he/she shines: Spanking Georg with magic damage. Georg Prime, despite his rather impressive build, sucks horridly when placed against magic. Hell, he'd most likely get scalded by Lemina bopping him over the head with a staff of hers. So you can imagine the liquified DEATH Ultima All would hold for him... Altima: 19 Eternalspirit

Meeplelard Beatrix is a Female Swordsman, with some low level white Magic, and high physical stats all around, from Final Fantasy 9. Edea is a Mage, which is self explanatory, and she's from Final Fantasy 8. Well, this is a classic fight of Wizard vs. Knight, or should I say, Black Wizard vs. Knight. yes, tihs goes down all the way to the ORIGINAL Final Fantasy game, in comparing the Knight to the Black Wizard. So, thus, if one is proven to win there, surely, their female counterpart will win this match, so let compare. Knight excels in strong physical attacks that do massive damage and has high criticla hit rate. Black Wizards are known for having low HP and horrid defenses, taking hits as bad as a certain mage from the Suikoden Series Black Wizard is quite reliant on killing things with XXXX, his Instant Death that never fails. Shame the enitre FF1 Cast is Immune to instnat death, thanks to Pro Rings, and the Knight is no exception Black Wizard has lots of elemental spells, Knight resists every element from FF1 Knight has game best HP, Black Wizard has game worst HP Knight can heal, Black Wizard can not. Knight has Mute, Black Wizard is a mage who being Muted is deadly Therefore, the Knight kicks the Black Wizards ass soundly, and thus, throughout the times, the 8th Mage like warrior of the FF series loses to the 9th the physically built warrior from the FF series. Well, ok, my maths off, but you get the point. Edea Kramer: 2 Tylor H

Eternalspirit The two fighters stepped onto the arena, cheered on by their respective casts. Hugo drew his knives while Hiro drew his legendary Ghaleon's Sword. Hugo, of course, began the battle by charging Winds of Sleep. Ironically, he was the one sleeping after hearing three all too famous words. "BANG, you're dead!" Hiro: 14 Tylor H
Ruinchaser Poor Noa. She couldn't figure out why she couldn't hit Tatjana, but a couple Sigma Storms later, she was out like a light. "I should've stayed with the wolf," thought Terra. At least the wolf would've used magic... Noa: 3 OblivionKnight The big question for this match, is whether Lemina can actually hurt a cute little kitty cat. I mean, look at Myau; he's so cute! Of course, this question is rendered obsolete when we actually sit down and think for a second. This is Lemina...this is the girl who put up with Ruby for an entire adventure. Ruby gives a bad name for cats everywhere. After taking an entire adventure and epilogue with the flying cat, it's likely Lemina has developed a distinct hate for the furry critters. Hence, with no qualms about hurting such an adorable animal, Lemina easily plaster the cat. Hey, she can open up a Chinese restaurant now! Myau soup, anyone? Myau: 4 MeepleLard
RC Before the match, Eiko decided to make herself a special meal of Oglop Stew. One of the oglops, however, was ill, which gave her food poisoning. Philia wins by default, thanks to Eiko being in a comatose state. Eiko Carol: 2 Super No Moogleskin purse for Chat... on the other hand, a well placed spear throw from Mog netted him a cool new hat, and a win. Chat: 5 Sir Alex Defense doesn't save you from Jibril. Evasion doesn't save you from Jibril. Speed and ranged attacks save you from Jibril. Beo... lacks speed. A giant sucking sound was heard from the south, as all of our tax dollars- er, Temple Knights got taken to Mexico by Jibril. Jibril: 14 Tylor H
OblivionKnight For the first few minutes, it seemed that a staring contest had ensued between chaos and Garet. Neither made a move, as they both continue to stare at each other. "You know," Garet spoke, after several minutes of waiting, "you don't look anything like...um..." He fumbled around in his pockets for a few seconds, and pulled out a dictionary. He read from it: "One; a great confusion, complete disorder. Two; the infinite space or formless matter before the universe existed. Not like either..." Garet stopped speechless as he looked up from the book. For his opponent, formerly dressed in very short shorts, was now wearing nothing but his birthday suit. "Confused yet?" chaos said to his opponent. Garet nodded, and fainted, giving chaos his first RPGDL victory. chaos: 10 Tylor H There comes a time for all ne'er do wells when they see the light as it were, and realise the error of their ways. MeepleLard Laguna entered the Arena with a Boom Box. He turned it on, and likewise "Man with the Machine Gun" started playing. The Crowd cheered... Futch sighed. "Furious Blow!" Futch Yelled, shining his Lightning Rune. The Boom Box was then hit head on, and destroyed, tape and all, and the music stopped "No! You didn't! Without that Music, I can't fight! Ah, My Leg is cramping up!" Laguna said, limping off the stage. Futch, meanwhile, was enjoying a quick easy trip to the quaterfinals for Light Futch: 19 Tylor H
MeepleLard Rody is a Mage from Suikoden w/out an Command Runes Guile is a Mage from Chrono Cross w/out any Elements Seems fair, right? Well no, see, while Chrono Cross mages just suck at Physicals, a Suikoden mage having a good physical is unheard of, and Rody, even with his amazing 2 swings, is being laughed it. It doesn't help that Guile can still summon swordsout of nowhere to slaughter Rudy Rody: 3
