Week 5 - Semifinals
Ghaleon vs Albedo
OblivionKnight
You know, as badass as Albedo is, there's no way he can win his bout with Ghaleon. Why is that, you may ask?
Because all the lawsuits have finally caught up to him. Choko, MOMO, Relm, Shabon, heck, even little Maria. Inundated with lawsuits, fearful of anti-votes and rotten garden fare, Albedo won't even show up for the fight, instead packing his bags and leaving for a few seasons to let the legal system cool down for a bit.

Albedo: 7

I simply don't see Albedo being able to drain Ghaleon, nor do I see him surviving more than two or three rounds against the Magic Emperor. In the other hand, with or without Chaos Shield, Ghaleon is very much able to weather the attacks the pedo is able to throw at him, and his damage output is staggering with the Hell Beam/physical combo. Though, I predict an Albedo championship due to 1) people tending not to give double championships and 2) anti-repeat votes. Yay for those.
Cora Meliamne
Well, it's simple really, Albedo is a boss, thus immune to every status in the book. Secondly, he's the fasted from the cast of Xenosaga, which says something, thirdly, he can boost his speed to a hight most would call abnormal. Taking that, and his 1/2 total HP leech healing tech. He will hand the Emperor his walking papers.
Altima vs Shadow
ultima287@yahoo.com
...Altima is a sad, sad final boss. Unfortunately for Shadow, she is still a final boss. And likewise unfortunately for him, Grand Cross is still very much effective on lone PCs. Shadow might get a good deal of damage from simply running away and throwing shurikens, but sooner or later, the Arch Angel will get a turn, and that'll be it. Votes

Shadow: 3
OblivionKnight
:Burn, FFT...BURN! Sadly, I feel I must vote for the ugly whore of an archangel. Ninjas, while quite badass in their own right, have no way to stand up to the power of an angel. Ever seen Yuffie try to take on Sephiroth alone? Yeah, I thought so too.
Jibril vs Demi
DragoonJay
Jibril eats Demi, all right... but that doesn't end the match. It's kind of hard to defend against an attack inside you. One Phonomezer shot turns Jibril inside out and releases everyone he consumed this season. The attack also seems to have the same effect on the spectators who had eaten shortly before the match.
Jibril: 5
Demi: 10
Oblivion Knight
Oh come on. You KNOW Jibril's REALLY fat, after eating so many people. You KNOW he doesn't do any exercise. How many girls do you think he gets? Heartburn? High cholesterol? NOTHING is getting in the way of the rare chance for him to actually "eat" a girl, even if she isn't human.
chaos vs Marivel Armitage
OblivionKnight
Anyone who's played a Castlevania game knows for a fact that no angel, no matter how strong they may be, loses to a vampire of equal strength. This holds true in other games too, and this bout is no exception to the rule.

Marivel Armitage: 8
The Final Clash of Economic Giants
Etiole vs Rufus vs Taloon vs Ramus vs Gobi vs Wilhelm
~Niu/OK
Meeplelard
Rufus was tired of doing things "Fairly" so he used a "Subtle" method of winning... After putting dismembered parts of what was left of Jenova or some tatooed Black Robed men in each companies HQ, it wasn't long til all the Opposition was wiped clean. Hey, so what if he didn't actually do things the "right Way" Alls fair in love, war, and economical empires, even if it involves using Silver Haired Bishies to get your work done...
Etoile: 5
Rufus: 7
Taloon: 1
Ramus: 0
Gobi: 2
Wilhelm: 3
Grefter
All right here is what I see happening, with everyone arguing over all this it will come down to a stand off Resovoir Dogs style. Almost everyone will be standing around until the first person cracks and then all hell breaks loose with only one survivor, that being the wussiest one of the lot. In the movie it was the character played by the ungodly great Steve Buscemi. In this scenario I see Gobi as being the wussy one that hides under a ramp while everyone else is busy killing each other. Gobi will then grab it all and run.
DragoonJay
Rufus cannot win - his legal department defected to Etoile, and he has absolute zero for business savvy. Besides, he wanted to rule the world through might, not economy. He's out.
Ramus cannot win - despite an incredible degree of business smarts, he's a wuss and would be run out of town by the more aggressive Rufus and Etoile.
Gobi cannot win - he's the worst of the sellers here, to the point where he lost his license to sell before he was taken under the wing of Ryu and his destiny-making Aura of Main Character. Without this advantage, not even the entire Manillo race could save him, not that they would try anyway.
Vector is out - he's too smart to risk losing everything. He declares bankruptcy on Vector Industries, nd starts a new company called Wilhelm Industries. Nothing changes except the name, but he satisfies the judges' criteria for losing.
Now we have a stalemate. Etoile can do pretty much anything to Taloon's store, but it won't affect him, since he IS his business. On the other hand, Taloon doesn't stand a chance at taking down Etoile's massive empire. So there's only one thing to do...
Merge. NeverLoon Enterprises increases Etoile's income six-fold and Taloon's friendly selling style soon becomes the norm across the multiverse.
Cora Meliamne
Wilhelm will do one thing. Having been the president of Vector since it conception, he knows every single possibility. And his response? He buys everyone elses stock, thus making him Majority share holder. He then merges them all with Vector Heavy Industries and makes the other merchents members of the board of directors.
