Meeplelard Zeon's loud challenge echoed throughout the arena. "What a foolish god you are. You dare think you can best me?" "What did you say?" You lost to one of Odin's fools. I dare say that you can't even correctly use you prized Dragon Orb! "None of that matters. I have one simple advantage that you, Zeon, will never have." "None of your pathetic tricks will work on me, fool." "I dare you to cross this line, simpleton!" With those bold words, Loki carved a thin line in the ground with his sword. "I'll admit defeat if you merely cross that line." "Never have I seen such foolishness.." "Stop talking, and start crossing!" "Gladly!" Zeon shouted. Zeon stood steadfast in his spot, unable or unwilling to budge an inch. The crowd was beginning to get restless. They expected such cowardly actions from the likes of Kefka, or such a pathetic lack of action by the likes of Evil Gaia. Zeon was neither of those fighters. "Fool! What have you done! Why can't I move?" "Ha! Did you forget? You cannot move at all! Hahahaha!" "Why you! I'll get you for this, Demon Br-" Loki merely walked out of the range of Zeon's breath attack, summoned his Dragon Orb. A few powerful blasts later, Zeon was nothing more than a stump of smoking flesh. Loki chuckled as he walked over what was left of Zeon. That wasn't really needed.. but if the god of trickery can't have a little fun now and again, who can? Loki: 12 Sir Alex

MeepleLard "Zeon, in your honor of your match against the god Loki, I shall smite this witch in the name of the Greater Devils!" Odd Eye shouted. "Ugh, what filthy creatures" shouted Genenieve back at him. "I take offense to that, especially since I can't see!" "Oh, then you won't be able to see the inpending doom that comes from my Cosmic Spear" "What?" If ye trust that thy eternal bonds may be broken, then let my words be as a vengeful blade upon thee! Cosmic Spear! And she was right, Odd Eye did not see the inpending doom of the Giant Spear impaling him, and knocking him out of the ring, which meant out of the match, and thus, another win for Valkyrie Profile this week over the Greater Devils of Shining Force 2. Strago Perhaps one of the longest matches the Duelling League has witnessed in recent history, the monumental eliminations bout between Malik Bendict and Demi ended only an hour ago. The tenacious little android refused to concede the match, recharging her fried circuits each time Malik's middling Eliminate Scanners brought her to her knees, and launching blast after useless blasr Phononmezer, only to see each scatter as they came into contact with the rapidly shifting molecules of the Prophet's body. Eventually, though, the inevitable did occur; Demi ran out of charges of her Recover, and a dead-tired, incredibly bored Malik felled her battered robotic shell at last. A hush fell over the Arena as the crowd silently wept for the brave little android. All except for a certain seat in the fifth row, where one Strago Magus was laughing so uproariously that he had to be escorted out by Arena security. Malik Benedict: 14 Infinity Dragon Vahn began the match using Spirit to quickly access his Miracle Art in hopes of taking out Lin before a match-ending status hit. Unfortunately for him, Lin pulled of several status attacks in a single round. At the end of the first round, he had already been Paralyzed and his physical strength had been crushed. The match went quickly downhill for Vahn following that, and culminated in him taking both a Super Shatter and Insant Death attack in the last round. Vahn: 1 Pipe Dreamer BAHAHAHA went Ramladu's laughter. SMASH went his sword. SPLAT went Maxim's innards. Hey, the networks broadcasting the DL always wanted more sound bites, and who could argue with them? Ramladu: 16 Meeplelard

Sir Alex Two very similar fighters. One has a Final Blast. One doesn't. Arngrim: 17 Infinity Dragon Poor Garr didn't stand a chance. He was immediately crippled when Marivel literally dropped the kitchen sink on his head with the secret technique of the Crimson Nobles: the all-powerful Aport! Garr: 5 Sir Alex Rena honestly badly lacks damage, and can't afford to go heal-loopy against Lucca. She'll go down. Rena Lanford: 8 Sir Alex I don't remember much about CC (thankfully) but I know that being a Yellow innate against Typhoon is a Very Bad Thing. Nina Wyndia: 18 superaielman Weigraf might as comb his hair back and start hypenating, because to Balk, he's nothing more than -trash-. Balk's nasty sharpshooting game pins Weigraf down in one spot, where he'll be helpless against Balk's barrage of bullets. Wiegraf Folles: 14 Sir Alex
Dunefar Janus poisons Melville. Like any good, caring doctor, Doctor Tuta immediately dashes out and confines the boy to a week's bed rest to get over his illness. Thus, Janus goes on while Melville gets lots of medicine. The world is hardly fair to children, is it? Janus: 16 superaielman St Fire=not an option. Raja=pitiful damage without it. Melody=can take several Raja hits. Raja=dead. Melody Vilente: 8 Dunefar "Foolish mortal," Hrist sneered, as she laughed mockingly at the leader of Odessa. "Do you think you can challenge a GODDESS in that cage of flesh?" Vinsfeld merely smirked with supreme confidence, raising his sword high before he brought it down on himself! While in a cage of flesh he may have been weaker that Hrist, it's amazing how powerful one can become as a Ghost.... Hrist Valkyrie: 3 Pipe Dreamer Tia was determined to get a win. After all, beating a demi-god should be just what it takes for Maxim to forget about that wench from Parcelyte and fall for her. At least she succeeded in the latter endeavor. Men like hard-to-get women, as the old adage goes. And you can't get much harder to get than being buried beneath a huge pile of icicles. Tia: 7
