Orlandu, Cidolfas vs Barubary
Infinity Dragon Barubary first tried to force Orlandu to relive his past incarnation of FF7 Cid Highwind. That failed. He then tried to force Orlandu to relive his incarnation as FF8 Cid, which again failed. "My nightmares are not affecting you. How can this be!?" Barubary asked, wondering how anyone could possibly remain sane after reliving their experiences as some of the worst characters ever. "Simple" replied Cidoflas "I am merely a cameo name that appears in most Final Fantasy worlds. In order to affect all of us, you must strike the source: Cid from the second Final Fantasy. If you want to travel to that godforsaken world, be my guest." "C...Curse you! You planned this from the beginning! I will defeat you yet! However, seeing as how I was defeated, regardless of your cheap tactics, I will tell you where my Life Bracer is..." Infinity Dragon Immediately upon seeing her opponent enter the arena, Terra asked if being a witch was a fun as it looked. "Of course it is, deary. Riding around on a giant snake and wearing nothing more than a long, thin piece of cloth entwined about your body is exhilirating!" Terra instantly converted to the dark side and cast Ultima on the judges, disqualifying her from the match. Unfortunately for Terra, Royce didn't mention that being a witch meant licking the boots of the most powerful magic using male in the land. Kefka has just found himself a new slave. Kefka vs Nate Nanjo
superaielman Nate stepped back, and let out a breath of air. That damn clown had proven to be a much tougher fight than he looked. ExorSword and his deep supply of healing had seen him through wave after wave of Havoc Wings. No way could Kefka hold out much longer... However, the useless Clown just kept on laughing. "Hehehehehe! Stupid boy. Time to experience the power of non existence!" Kefka flew up to Nate, and leveled a Havoc Wing. Nate was, of course, ready for this. He grinned, and took the brunt of the attack. "That all, clown? It's the same sad trick." What Nate wasn't prepared for was Kefka flying into the air, and preparing his Havok Wing attack again. "HOW CAN THIS BE?!" The second strike tore Nate in half, giving the demented clown the win. "Two for the price of one.." Kefka's mad laughter echoed throughout the arena, giving warning to anyone godlike fighter who dared to make a stand against him. Kefka: 20
Jr. vs Cecilia Lyne Adelhyde
cwazymammal@hotmail.com I personally see this as a battle that hinges on whether or not Jr. can kill Cecilia in his first two attacks. If he can't, Cecilia will just spam her Shield and Hi-Heal spells to the point where Jr. deals negligible physical damage. Since Jr. doesn't have any dispell spells nor can he increase his strength with Coin Lock in effect, and since Wild ARMs buff spells last an entire battle, his primary damage dealer against the high MDF mage is shut down. From then on, it's just a matter of choosing how Cecilia wants to end this match. With Fire? Ice? Lightning? Or with every element in the Rainbow? Jr.: 13 Hunter Sopko
Freya Crescent vs Tidus
Zenthor Tidus whined. And whined, and whined, and whined. And when he was done, he whined some more. "Daddy didn't love me!" he moped as he dragged himself into the Arena. Freya jumped down into the arena, spear in hand and cotton balls in ears. Being a rat-human... thing, her ears were highly sensitive to high pitched sounds, particularly those made while bitching and whining. However, the cotton balls weren't helping much, she was starting to get a headache just being near this large ball of whining. She wanted the match to end, and she wanted it to end quickly. With the headache clouding her judgement, she jumped, forgetting about Tidus' evade and counter. When she landed, and missed, the force from the landing shook one of the cotton balls out of her ear, and Tidus' high-pitched whining penetrated into her ear, sending a sharp pain directly to Freya's brain. She covered her head to stop the pain, but it was too late. This was bound to happen to someone, and it was extremely lucky of Tidus that it happened when it did. Tidus' whining finally made someone's head explode. Now bitching about the pieces of rat-man brain stuck in his hair, Tidus whined his way out of the arena. Freya Crescent: 14 
Reno vs Nina Wyndia
DragoonJay Protesting the cheapness of Pyramid, Nina made a request to the judges to allow her someone on the sidelines to hit her whenever she got encased. The judges agreed, but only on the condition that said person would only be able to free her, and not interfere in any other way. Nina and Reno both agreed to this ruling. When the match began, Reno quickly used Pyramid, and Nina could only wait for her hero to free her... and quickly got struck down by the Ultima Weapon. The last thing Nina thought of before passing out from Cloud's damage was why Reno had been so adamant in choosing her attacker. Reno: 29 
Sierra Mikain vs Scias
Meeplelard When Scias entered the match, instead of opening with his infamous Shining Blade, he instead did something quite unexpected: He cast Raise Dead, one of the most useless dueling moves around...on Sierra to boot. Imagine the crowd's suprise when they saw Sierra drop dead from such an attack instantly after the casting. Sucks to be one of the undead against a healer, doesn't it? Sierra Mikain: 12 Hooah
Nina Wyndia vs Sania
Infinity Dragon Nina was watching the Godlike match between Barubary and Orlandu, and happened to be there as Barubary was defeated. Recognising Orlandu's strength, Barubary decided to divulge the secret location of the legendary Life Bracer. However, being a demon, his voice was loud and carried to highest reaches of the stadium where Nina was sitting. Hearing where this legendary item was found and being from the same world, Nina quickly returned to Infinity and found Barubary's chest. Taking the Life Bracer back to the Arena in time for her match, Nina had no problems. Nina smugly smiled as the match started and her opponent opened with an Instant Death attack. Nulling the effect with her Life Bracer, Nina struck back with her own hellishly accurate Death attack, winning the match.. Nina Wyndia: 16

Infinity Dragon Due to his hating of violence, especially to girls who are much more inferior to himself, Jean came up with an alternative strategy- use his skills as an artist. Unfortunately, his 102 page Virginia x Maya doujinshi took too long to make and Jean completely missed his match, causing his wholly inferior foe to win. However, he did manage to win an economic victory and had the small satisfaction of everyone in the Dueling League reading his "romance". Virginia hasn't left her room since the publication. Cyan Garamonde vs Gijimu
superaielman Cyan, ever the stoic knight, charged up for one of his big attacks. True to his nature, Cyan ignored the attacks being thrown his way. Gijimu, ever the thief, simply stole Cyan's sword, armor, pants, gold, hairband, and his brand new cape. Needless to say, When Cyan finished charging, he noticed a missing weapon, a strong draft, and the embarassment of being outwitted by a random suikdoen fighter. Cyan Garamonde: 21
Evil Is As Evil Does Nephrite Faulkner was chuckling madly inside the Zulwarn. The Soulstab lay nearby, broken into two pieces. The Zulwarn itself was nearly crushed, and Faulkner was bleeding from a spot above his forehead, which was trailing into his eye. He was certainly not going to lose yet. Shuu, on the other hand, wasn't fairing much better. The Neo Granzon had several large holes in it, as well as rather impressive scorch marks. The Gran-worm sword had also been broken early in the battle, and Shuu only had one attack left. He was about to release it onto Faulker, when all of a sudden... There was a bright flash of light, and a searing beam of pink energy shot down from the sky, melting through what was left of the Zulwarn's armor. It succinctly fell over, the pilot inside it burnt to a crisp. Shuu looked up, almost worried there was a new challenger. In the sky, coming down for a landing was the RX-78 Mobile Suit, piloted by one Mr. Amuro Rei. "Are you Shuu Shirakawa?" he asked over the comm system. "...Indeed, what is this about?" "I'm here to take you back to the universe you're supposed to go into. Come on, let's go." So the two large robots left the Arena the same way they came in, and returned from whence they came. Brothers in Arms superaielman "Sephiroth..." Melfice's breath grew jagged. "That was the fool who dared stand in my way. He'll pay for his crimes!" "Brother, no! You can't stand against Sephiroth. None of us can!" Ryudo's tone was a mix of worry and frustration. He knew that Sephiroth had disposed of Melfice in season 3 godlike's finals, and it was very unlikely that he'd be able to stop him now. Though...Turning his head towards the other teams, Ryudo used his trademark smirk. "You know, Sephiroth can't stand against all of us at once. If we unite, we can crush these fools for daring to do this to us."The six fighters stood eyeballing each other in distrust, until an unlikely voice spoke up. "Those pigs need to be dealt with. All that matters is soaking the earth with their blood, and filling the air with their useless cries for mercy." Luca's surprising words of wisdom had Jowy, Ryudo, and Kharg nodding along. Darc was having no part of it. "Hmmph. No need for me to work with human scum like yourselves. I'm out of here." Darc began to walk away, when Kharg grabbed his arm. "Darc, don't be so damn dense, we can work together and wi-" Kharg's words were broken up by Darc's fist flooring him. "Human scum. You're no longer needed." Darc's words were barely out of his mouth before Kharg sprung to his feet, and drew his sword. "We settle this now, Darc!" The two brothers began a breathtaking swordfight... that was interupted by the sounds of a certain silver haired man approaching. Drawing Masamune, Sephiroth pulled his mighty sword to it's full height, and cut Kharg in half. Lowering his sword, Sephiroth smiled. "Did you forget that we were watching? You know that attacking your teammates is against the rules. I'm afraid I have to show you what happens if you decide to disobey me." Whirling around to face Kharg, Sephiroth summoned his innate magical powers, and struck Darc down with Bolt 3. A graceful slice from Masamune ended any resistance from the Deimos warrior. Noticing the dirty look Melfice shot him, Sephiroth's smile turned into a grin. "Ah, Melfice. How's your fiancee doing? Not well? You look angry with me. Care to continue where we left off during season three?" "Bwahahaha. A pig with a sense of humor!" Luca's mad laugher was an unsettling sound at any time, but to the angry Melfice, it sounded like a call to arms. With a wordless shriek for what was lost, Melfice charged the SOLIDER, Maken Valenborg shining in his hand. Melfice's furious strikes quickly overwhelmed Sephiroth's casual defenses, forcing him to his knees. "Heh.. I see that you can best me when I'm not trying. You're not bad...but still out of my league!" With a flash of light, Sephiroth jumped into the air, and called to Jenova. It became obvious to the fighters that if they wanted to strike Sephiroth down, this would be the time. "NOW!" Before Sephiroth could raise his defenes, a wave of black energy hit him, courtesy of Jowy's Black Sword Rune. The blow knocked the One Winged Angel back on his heels. Just as he was recovering... "Sworn enemies, take this!" Ryudo's Sky Dragon Slash knocked Sephiroth to the ground. A furry of spells, stabs, and curses quickly followed the opening strikes. Although Sephiroth is a powerful fighter, not even he can handle four hardened fighters at once. He dropped to the arena floor, a beaten man. Luca, Jowy, Melfice, and Ryudo had all taken hits during the battle, but they had won. All that was needed was to walk out of the maze.. "You all disappoint me. Given a simple task to work together, you instead chose to strike down your gracious host, and disobey the rules." Edgar shook his head, and reached for one of his tools. "I'm afraid that your actions won't be tolerated." Edgar aimed his Noiseblaster, and used it. A dischordant harmony filled the arena. Melfice and Luca looked puzzled as the attack had no effect on them. For Jowy, on the other hand.. With a jerking motion, Jowy lifted his hand, and fired off his last charge of Hungry Friend at Ryudo and Luca. Luca took the blow well enough, but Ryudo.. The magical energy ripped through the Geohound, knocking him into a wall, and blasting the life from his body. Luca, annoyed, walked up to Jowy, and slapped him. "What was that for, PIG?" Jowy's blank stare turned to normal. "Wha.. what happened?" He looked towards Melfice, and turned pale. The Horn of Valmar's sword was shaking in his hand, and he had a look of rage on his face. "You'll pay for that.." Melfice's Demon Horde Slash opened a gaping hole in the earth near Luca and Jowy. Before they could react, Melfice followed this up with Quake, knocking the pair into the new abyss in the ground. Dropping his sword onto the ground, Melfice walked over to Ryudo, and shook his head. "How could this have happened?" "Did you not hear me before? You broke the rules, and now you pay the price. Sabin?" "YAAAAAAAAAH!" Sabin's Bum Rush attacked hit the weakened Melfice, knocking him to his knees. "Tisk, tisk. I wish this had turned out better for you. You and Ryudo have come so far..."
