Lamington vs Kuja Chaz Ashley vs Steiner, Adelbert Justin vs Agrias Oaks Bowser Koopa vs Rikku
Week 5 - Semifinals

Lamington (Disgaea) Lamington vs Kuja Kuja (FF9)

Lord Windscar
Flare star is undoubtedly the deciding factor in this match-up. Due to its ability to deal more damage to higher leveled targets, this will be Lamington's demise due to the game's ridiculously high levels.

Lamington: 16
Kuja: 17

MepMep
If I remember Kuja he will start countering everything with flare star or something. When that time comes it's a matter of Kuja just using Cure3 every turn and letting the counters chip away.

Chaz Ashley (PS4) Chaz Ashley vs Steiner, Adelbert Steiner, Adelbert (FF9)

Grefter
Mmmmmm, anyone else ever seen a grown man in make up and a full set of armour explode as if they have swallowed a brick of C4? I know I have, and so will the rest of the DL spectators after Chaz Explodes Steiner.

Chaz Ashley: 23
Steiner, Adelbert: 15

Sir Chris
Chaz: I shall own you
Steiner: *shock*

oh, the agony, pain, please god end it now, e t c.

Lord Windscar
Steiner actually remembered to set one of his abilitys to Auto-Life, so when the first wave of Explode hit, Steiner just got right back up and smacked Chaz with Iai strike, killing him.

MepMep
Does FF9 have any ID protection? I allow one protection usage... if not it's close...

Justin (G1) Justin vs Agrias Oaks Agrias Oaks (FFT)

Infinity Dragon
If Rune Walsh was in a bad mood last week, words fail to describe his temperament today. Not only had his nemesis, Justin, reached the finals, but humiliated Rune publicly in the process.

Since his last plan had been foiled due to Justin seeing Rune's attack in a previous bonus match, Rune was going to make sure this plan would have concepts and actions that were entirely novel to Justin. Rune contacted Agrias Oakes, Justin's opponent, to begin formulating on how to finally rid himself of his immature antithesis.

Justin walked into the arena to attempt to claim his championship, as well to regain Feena's affections, but was not met by Agrias. He did, however, find that a note telling him that Feena had been abducted, and that he must venture through all 60 floors of the newest model of the Ancient Cave in order to find his opponent and his love. His legal advisor, Guido the Mogay Elder, counselled Justin into accepting the challenge while he would meet with the judges to convince them that Agrias has already lost the match by forfeiture. Justin, having never been to the Ancient Cave, was ecstatic to adventure into its bowels, and quickly took up Guido's advice. However, he first had to speak with a reknowned adventure in order to learn more about surviving the perils dungeons in the world of Lufia.......

"Do not worry, Agrias." Said Rune as he assured Agrias of her success. "I have stocked the Ancient Cave with deadly summoned monsters, in addition to keeping its powerful Gold Dragon inhabitants. That moron won't be able to make it past the first Floor Keeper, let alone all 60."

An hour passed, then two....and Justin had not made it to the bottom. Rune was beginning to feel pleased. Suddenly, the door burst open and Justin walked in. "Unhand Feena, villain!" cried the young adventurer as he charged Rune.
"How did you make it here!? There's no way you could have defeated all those enemies!"
"Actually, you forgot. I KEEP all the experience in this Ancient Cave. I slowly worked my level up to 99, as well maxing all my Magic Levels, Weapon Levels, and found some nifty new equipment as well!"
"You b-bastard. How did you find that out!?"
"I found some help!" as Justin said this, Dekar and Wain walked into the room.
".....I think the average IQ of people in this room just dropped below 50." commented Agrias, who held nothing but contempt for the fighters.
Don't call me stupid!!!!!" cried an enraged Wain as he turned Agrias into bloody ribbons with a well placed Octostrike IP at the same moment Dekar turned her into ash with Sizzle.
"Nothing stands up to my sword!" exclaimed Dekar.
"N-no. This can't be happening. How can I lose to not one, but THREE morons!? Eat Legeon, ignorant fools!"
"What was that?" Dekar asked as he dusted off his slightly burnt armor. "Don't tell me that was your best attack..."
"You need to learn your manners. Didn't your mom teach you anything?" Wain commented.
"Oh well, you may have won Feena back, but you still lose your championship title for having Dekar and Wain help you beat Agrias. You see, there was nothing you could do to beat me in the end!"
"Actually, Guido convinced the judges that Agrias forfeited. I'm the Middle Champion already! And now you're going to pay! Heaven and Earth Cut!"

The resulting attack from having level 99 Axes and Swords, combined with level 99 in magic and character levels, instantly KO'd the wimpy mage. Rune's body quickly phased out to return to the entrance of the Ancient Cave.

"Hey Feena! Let's finish exploring this place, I hear that the guardian gives a great reward to those that beat him!"

And with that, Justin and Feena along with Dekar and Wain, set out to defeat the Big Red Jelly.

Justin: 30
Agrias Oaks: 11

Sir Chris
"hahaha"

"wtf it aint working"

"I pwn you newb"

um um um

OMG WTF CHRIS ENTERS WITH A CHAIR, HE HITS JUSTIN OVER THE HEAD, BY GAWD

what, it could happen.

Agrias - 0
Justin - 0
Cheating in blind fanboyism - 1

I seriously don't buy justin being that good... but then again, I am an odd judge of these sorts of things.

Bowser Koopa (SMRPG) Bowser Koopa vs Rikku Rikku (FFX)

Lord Windscar
Lets look at it this way:

Bowser hits hard. (Advantage Bowser)
Rikku heals more than Bowser hits. (Neutral)
Rikku can gain access to anyone's skill tree. (Advantage Rikku)
Rikku can cure Bowser's poison with an Al Bhed potion, and heal her. (Big advantage Rikku)
Rikku can use her overdrive to make her deal 9999 every time, regardless of Terror. (Huge advantage Rikku)

Sorry Bowser, you cant kill her before she reaches overdrive, and when she does, you'll be lying on the ground soon after.

Bowser Koopa: 16
Rikku: 28

Fenris
For this fight I allow Bowser his Paper Mario boss form due to the fact that Rikku is too annoying to continue living.

Biased? Yes. Uncalled for? No.

Genocide Heart
Yes, Rikku is faster. Yes, Rikku can heal. No, I don't give her access to stolen items. Yes, I allow her anything storebought... only up to 50, though. Considering I normally DISALLOW consumable items, Rikku should be grateful I allow that at all. -_-

Rikku REALLY wants her FFX-2 form here, but as it hasn't been ranked yet, Terrorize does awful, awful things to her already crappy attack here, and Bowser nukes her, eventually.

Match for the Ages
vs.
~Meeplelard/OK

Meeplelard
Nina cast Hold on Rolf, immobilizing him for Nash's silence spell, Team Ancestors seemed confident they were going to win, based on the biggest threat of Descendants was basically turned into the least of thier worries...

Suddenly, the Lufia 1 Hero shouted "Now!" and suddenly. Next day, there were only 2 words after that which Team Ancestors could remember:

"Mega Damage!"

"BoltX!"

And thus, comes to an exciting conclusion, in that while Old Skool prefers to lengthen things out, New Age characters have already learned that killing things outright is easily the fastest method. This is a lesson Ancestors learned the hard way.

Ancestors: 15
Descendants: 20

AAA
After some inital jeering and complaints of how youngsters these days are so uppity by the Ancestors, and subsequent remarks about how uncool the old fogeys are by the Descendents, the battle began and things began to go wrong for the Ancestors. Rolf's Megid was tearing the team apart, and the nameless Lufia hero kept the spell-casters safe.

Alis knew that soon they would be defeated. It was time to call upon the secret weapon that has served all older video games and characters for generations. Quickly the Ancestors retreated, leaving the Descendants trailing behind, sensing victory at hand.

Alis smirked.

"NOSTALIGA.............ATTACK!"

As thousands and thousands of old-school RPG fans swarmed the Descendants with inane arguments and silly rhetoric, we were once again reminded of how well time fogs the mind and strengthens the old.
