superaielman "Aha. I have one advantage you don't, tree." Ex-death glanced over at Albedo, and just shrugged. "Unlike you, I don't lose to little girls." And Albedo proved why shortly after, with a brutal series of Fallen Angels. Albedo: 23 superaielman Virgil smirked. Five seconds into his first match, and Ryu had fallen victim to Shadow Wing. "There really isn't anything to this duelling thing after all. Hah." With that, Virgil left the arena, not knowing that a much tougher fight lay in store for him.. Luis Virgil: 24 Rainrr
Sir Alex It is a sad truth that even the Glance Reviver is not quite enough to instantly slay the mightiest of foes, and a somewhat sadder one that a deathspell is rather better at slaying unprotected characters. Saddest of all, however, is the fact that a wise sage was right - at the end of the day, Ugly > Pretty. Evans: 18 superaielman Too bad about Shed lowering Deis's defense, or she might have a chance.. if Melfice wasn't faster, and couldn't boost his physical anyway. Deis: 9 Dunefar It's a shame that Lance drew Reid, really. Look at him - a single Omega Demon Chaos will combo the prince to the point where he needs to use Heal, and the next few will wear out his MP. From there, he'll eat a Dragon Demon Chaos. It's a shame Lance can't have his Salamander come to help out. He could use it, if for no other reason than to drag off his remnants. Reid Herschel: 19 Jatsuya Laharl is said to have destroyed battleships by powering up, and is not only the prince of the underworld, he becomes Overlord and Tyrant. Roan is a normal young prince, with slightly-above-average fighting abilities. Who should win? Laharl: 16 Starphoenix das Helpoemer
Yakumo Sheesh, an all-physical character against Mirror Stance? If Sari gets one non-pity vote, It'll be a sign of the Apocalypse. Ramsus, Kahran: 22 Dunefar "...I fought my brother..." "...I've served an evil force..." "...Oh, the angst..." On meeting in the ring, Golbez and Sasarai found out they had a large deal in common. It's not everyday that two mages find such similar ground, even in the melting pot of worlds that is the DL universe. So, of course, they sit in the middle of the ring, angsting and comisserating all the while. So, who ends up winning in this case? Simple. Not known for his endurance, even shooting the breeze about angst is too much HP loss for Golbez to take, and the Dark Knight passes out in the middle of Sasarai's riveting tales of exetential angst. Sasarai: 27 Dhyerwolf Janice may have a lot of power and determination for a bunny girl, but Zalbard looks like the type of evil demon who eats bunnies for breakfast. All it took was one peek at the hideous Greater Devil for Janice to hightail her furry behind right out of the arena. Zalbard: 25 Nephlite Poor Miklotov. He might have won; If he didn't have crappy Offense, crappy magical defense, oh and the fact that he was completely distracted by Camus waving to him didn't help matters any. Lemina Ausa: 29 Starphoenix das Helpoemer Grandson of a Crazy Man VS. Secondary Love Interest due to Primary Love Interest being Stabbed in the Gut. This is actually a fairly tough match to call. Fred's elite defense is going to be hard for Tifa to actually crack, but Tifa's limit breaks (Set at Limit Level 1) can be downright evil. With Godhand, Tifa shouldn't have too much trouble hitting Fred, but can she crack his armor? I say yes. Fred Maximilian: 13 Zenthor Let's see, we have a Suikoden 3 Heavy Armour user versus a Chrono Cross character without any magical techs. Do the math; if you can't figure it out from there, you don't deserve to know. Orlha: 7 Natoryy@Yahoo.com Kain's armour turned the first of Blank's knives and then the second. Blank didn't get a chance to try again; He was defeated the instant Kain came crashing down. When Blank's stitched-together skin rips a seam, Kain advances to week two knowing that a good start is worth almost as much as a mediocre ending. Kain Highwind: 43 Nanashi
superaielman Mightin Morphin MOMO scares most sane lights. Karn isn't sane, which is why he had to explain to his castmates how he managed to get beaten at his own transforming game by a little girl. Karn: 15 Halbarad Hmm... the frontrunner of a far-flung foreign force or a personage with a penchant for masticating mysterious mycoloids. Throw in one giant robot for emphasis, and YOU make the call. Funguy: 14 superaielman Ah, Luceid. It must be sad being a former light champ, and getting owned by a talking mushroom. On the bright side, at least you can say you did better than any other Wild ARMs light. Lucied: 15 Dunefar
Forty Winks MepMasta Excuse me? Snorlax can hear freaking explosions and not wake up until his time... he wins this contest hands down. Juan: 8 Snorlax: 13 Laharl: 12 Deis: 11 Teta: 2 Guruuvu no Akujin
