Hunter Sopko Songi actually has this. He's tough enough and fast enough to survive Worker 8's attacks; as a boss, he's immune to ID; and his own physical attacks are to be feared. Maybe if Worker 8 didn't lose HP with Work, he'd have a chance, but this is Songi's fight. Worker 8: 1

Antenora vs Shana
RC Antenora is the most imposing member of Cocytus, which says a lot. However, Shana has one of scariest attacks in the entire division thanks to White Silver Dragon. And Antenora can't stop Shana in the one round she'll get between a nice little arrow tap, and a big fat dragon bitch slap. Antenora: 3 
Lemina Ausa vs Vormav Tingel
Dark Holy Elf Lemina, knowing that her victory in this match could lead to many endorsement opportunities, studied her opponent carefully before the match. And, after doing so, she formulated a plan. As Vormav could only use his Mighty Swordskills to target the helmet or armour of his opponent, she would wear neither of these. And so it was that she showed up to the match with not a single piece of defensive equipment on. The plan almost worked. Vormav opened with Shellbust Stab, only to see it do... nothing. The Shrine Knight cursed the fact that RPG characters do not change appearance whether or not they wear armour. "How mega-embarrassing for you!" called the young mage. "Without your skills, you're nothing but an ordinary knight!" She began to cast Catastrophe. And was rudely interrupted as she was impaled on Vormav's sword. "And without your gear, you're nothing but a defenceless girl," replied the Shrine Knight, claiming his second match. Lemina Ausa: 3 
Cait Sith vs Nash Rumack
Dark Holy Elf Nash had a furious look on his face. Not just the usual contempt for his opponent, but outright rage. As soon as the battle began, he called out the words which were always the last thing an opponent fighting him heard... "Special delivery!" Cait Sith was out like a light to a Sleep spell before he even had a chance to begin his own spellcasting. The crowed groaned, as Nash had just won another match in the blink of an eye. They'd seen this before... all the Vane mage had to do now was cast Petrify, and end it... So everyone was surprised when Nash pulled out a bow. Not his Starlight Bow, mind you, but a regular, ordinary, bow. Moving almost faster than the eye could see as always, Nash quickly let loose an arrow, waking Cait Sith up. "Who shot me with an arrow?" called the robotic cat, as he came to. "Why you..." and he was interrupted as Nash hit him with another sleep spell. And so it went. For what had to be one of the longest matches in the history of the RPGDL, Nash alternated between waking his opponent up with an arrow, then immediately knocking him back to sleep. Finally, when his stuffed toy opponent fell over in defeat, Nash walked up to Cait Sith, and kicked him. "You jerk! That will teach you to beat up my girlfriend!" He turned to the sidelines. "There you go, Mia!" he said. "Not only did I avenge your defeat, but I did it in the most painful way possible." "Nash..." said Mia. "It's not that I don't appreciate the sentiment, but did it ever occur to you that remotely-controlled robots don't feel pain?" "Oh," said Nash, right before cursing very, very loudly. Cait Sith: 1
Palmer vs Rena Lanford
OK Palmer and Rena, strangely, seemed to be evenly matched. Palmer's gun attacks was met by Rena's equally skillful spell casting. Starflare to Mako gun....Light Cross to, er, Mako Gun...Fairy Light to, alright you get the idea. Nonetheless Palmer and Rena had become stalemated, both eyeing each other from across the arena, waiting for the other to make a move. "You know," Palmer yelled over at his opponent, "you should surrender now. I'm a guy, which means I can do everything better than you. Eventually, I'll win, so just give it up now." "You know," Rena responded, "you're right. I bet you can do everything better than me. Well, except die, of course. I can go out in a better fashion than you could." "Oh yeah? Well watch this!" With that, Palmer took out a whistle, blew on it, and several seconds later was hit by a truck that carried him out of the arena, giving Rena the win. *....oh come on! It's Palmer. Of COURSE there's going to be a truck comment in here somewhere!* Palmer: 3 
Jaro vs Jean
OK Jaro....and Jean. Dear GOD this is a Light match. Jean is so lucky that Jaro sucks so much more than he does. All Jean does is wait for Death to hit, and he wins ( albeit several days after the match begins ). First Jogurt, and now Jaro...Jean's had an easy run so far. Too bad it probably won't last long. Leon Geeste vs Amy Sage
OK *sigh* Leon is dead. Word of Death, his only real chance at winning this battle, is so horribly innacurate that it makes Hrist look like a professional sniper. Add to that the fact that a casting of Deban will take away Leon's only significant combat abilities by making his magic that much weaker, Amy's Saner will ensure Leon never gets a chance to move, not to mention all her other talents, and this match is a complete slaughter. The Joy Rank Club RC The air was heated with the bloodlust of the impending match. The boys were ready to rumble, as were the girls... "Saturn Planet Power!" Hotaru did her transformation in front of all the spectators, and everyone's eyes peeled back at it. "WAHHHHH! THE BAD MEN ABUSED ME WITH THEIR EYES! I FEEL VIOLATED!" She pointed at the stunned trio of opponents in the arena as she fell to the ground screaming. A deadly calm came over everything as various spectators threw more than insults at them. "Holocaust!" "Mega-Death!" "Super Nova!" "Nibelung Valesti!" "Flare Star!" "For the Children!" Kevin, Klarth, and Necrosaro never even knew what knocked them out from that batch. It continued for some time later, as the entire RPGDL overreacted on those three. Well, almost all. There, of course, were the usual ones that were beating up Albedo and his ilk for the same reason in the stands. As Sailor Saturn sat on the ground and pretended to cry, Hortensia nudged Phoebe with a haughty smirk. "Told you it would work." Girls: 7 Boys: 1 |
