The spirit of the RPGDL is a wondrous thing, dear readers! With so much going on this week, spirits are flying high and everyone is riding on a whole new wave of emotion! Come, fellow Defenders! Let's find out what's so special about this week!
The Results of last week's matches should be your first stop, dear readers. Was Adray able to continue his dominating conquest of Light? Did King Galam fall to the combined might of a swordsman and a mouse? And is Zophar still in line for a second championship? Don't delay, dear readers: the answers are all awaiting you inside! Now, brave heroes, Week Four awaits your perusal! Hurry on in, and check out the exciting battles contained therein: Geriatrics aren't necessarily down once they've passed their so-called prime! Adray Lasbard, elderly, and yet still a more capable warrior than many in the higher divisions, is storming Light like no other. Master of martial arts, mighty warrior, holy priestess...none will stand in the way of the mightiest old man in the whole DL, not even the original Final Fantasy White Wizard. Look out Light: the champ is here! Fun times are in store in Middle this week, as the epic story of the Dragon and the Fox replays for us in real-time. Sly Ursula, Imperial soldier, must outwit Aelia, in whose veins flows the blood of a dragon. Without Ryu on her side, will Ursula find a way to slay a dragon, or will she find herself roasted to a crisp? Heavy once more hails the arrival and domination of Lloyd Irving, fresh face from Tales of Symphonia. The power of Falcon Crest and his skill with the blade has gotten him past some deadly foes. But will this week be the end of his run, as he faces off against not only someone just as skilled with the blade as him, but also with a significant amount more of brain power? And Godlike is filled with an old school match that dates back from the RPGP. Citan Uzuki ( no relation to that Shion Uzuki person ) finds himself going toe-to-toe with the Magic Emperor, in a battle that has been hashed out time and time again. Now, in a new medium, will Citan prove himself just as capable of toppling the mightiest sorceror in the worlds, or will it finally be his time to die? And it's a very good idea to stop by, The Forums, especially since this is a ranking season! Head on over to The Final Cut, and tell us what you think of the games up for ranking debate! Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Baldur's Gate, and a surprise face from Shadow Hearts: Covenant are up for ranking consideration. Show your support for your favourite characters, and get involved! I've run out of witty comments at the moment, so here's the generic "Here's Behind the Scenes with Chisato Madison" spiel: |
